Bakery products looked wonderful, but don't be deceived by the looks. A cute place but nothing was close to expectations.

Before our trip to Hilton Head I called them to to see if they coud make a birthday cake for my son for Wednesday, August 13, 2014. I wanted a 7-inch, one layer chocolate and one layer vanilla. I would discuss any icing decoration with the baker when I placed my order. I was told that all the baking is... More

We had breakfast at Signe's this morning. It is small and kitchy,..cute and clean. There was 6 in our party. Service was generally prompt and friendly. Our diners had the whole wheat waffles, eggs with canadian bacon, and french toast with sausage. There was a small fresh fruit cup served on the side..good variety and very fresh! The waffles were... We love Signe's and visit it every year with our family. This year I tried the polenta with the house salad. I got the lavender biscotti to go. My son got key lime pie his favorite. We also got two free cookies because we found a flyer at our hotel. My husband had the turkey and cranberry sandwich. My son... More

We were pleasantly surprised that Signe's added dishes that included Eggs and Grits. The grits were excellent and as has been our experience in the past there was more food than we could eat so we had leftover grits and fruit salad for our breakfast the next day. We also bought a lof of Peach Almond bread and it is... More

Always enjoy our breakfasts at Signe's. Especially good bakery items, fritatas, waffles, shrimp 'n' grits, fruit, etc. Usually end up taking bakery items home with us. The only minor annoyance at times is when the timeshare sales people are filling the place trying to make a sale. The staff is pleasant and the indoor dining area quaint and cozy. There... More

Well where do I start, we came in today with a party of 6 Family members, We seated ourself and the waitress was quick to get our drink orders and bring menus, as time pasted we watched her going from table to table, we were patient and when she returned for our order we asked if she was working alone,... We ordered the Deep Dish French Toast trio and weren't as impressed as "Rachel Ray". We expected a crusty texture like traditional french toast but our servings were just thick moist slices. The country sausage was excellent; a breakfast of sausage and either quiche or a frittata would have been a better choice.

During our last visit in 2011 we were told to try to Key Lime Poundcake, which we did and we loved it so we knew that we wanted to go back for another one on this visit. While there one of the ladies working suggested that we also try the Key Lime Pie so we bought a slice and I... More
