We are a dark cramped restaurant located in a strip mall in Coligny Plaza. We play our music loud, keep our lights uncomfortably low making is hard to read your menu, large taper candles provide minimal lighting and drip on your table. Our staff will explain our dishes and ingredients in excruciating detail, our outdoor seating is in a parking lot. Our service is sub standard and our food ordinary. OK, I'll start at the top: This was one of the best five restaurant meals of my life. And I am getting up there in years. Adventuresome but not pretentious or cuted-up menu, but rather a very authentic presentation of the vision of the owner and talents of the chef. Some offerings you have... read more

We ordered the specials and they are outstanding. The taste, appearance and service could not have been better. The other couple we were with enjoyed their selections too. We stayed a little longer conversing with our friends which seemed fine with the restaurant

Ok, so this is about our 7th time there, just bring the extra money because the quality is well worth the money. They go out of their way to make sure the wine pairings work for your wonderful dinner. Just be sure to bring a good appetite. Enjoy!

We ate here recently with friends after running a half marathon. We chose Vine based on trip advisor reviews. What a delightful experience. We dined in their covered outside area with heat lamps. It was quite chilly outside so we were intially nervous about this decision but it turned out to be great. We actually asked them to turn down... More

There's no website, the phone gets answered sporadically, they aren't necessarily open to the public all the nights they say they are, the restaurant can be a bit hard to find (not unusual for Hilton Head), it's dark inside, there's a tv on non stop(ok Turner Classics, but still...). etc. But if you are a foodie, without a doubt this... We went to Vine last night to celebrate my birthday, and - in addition to the excellently-prepared food, seamless service, and convivial atmosphere - I was treated to several lovely surprises. the owner, Steve, found our favorite wine and checked back on us for feedback. My husband and I both ordered fish, and usually we have a friendly contest on... More

The intimate space lends itself to a memorable dining experience. Super wine list (we got a great deal on a close out off the list wine). Food is memorable and always fresh. The owner is always present and helpful as is the staff.

I read other reviews of the Vine and the restaurant sounded so interesting and unusual we had to try it. BOY THOSE REVIEWERS WERE RIGHT! The wine, the food, the service all terrific. My wife and I had the pea soup infused with bacon to start, just delicious. For the main course we both had one of the specials for... More

I love that Vine is farm-to-table! The staff was very attentive and the food was outstanding! It is a bit small but I think it adds to it's charm.

We had a delightful evening nestled in a comfy booth, illuminated by candlelight and the glowing personality of our waitress, Misty. It is quite clear that the staff is extremely well trained and that they love what they do. No pretentions here, just great, beautifully executed culinary delights. We were treated to a perfect evening of lovingly prepared food, served... More
