We chose this restaurant after reading other tripadvisor reviews, and the raves are definitely deserved. We arrived at 6PM, before the lines started to form, and got seated in the courtyard. Very pleasant environment with good accoustic music that wasn't too loud. The service was good although it became a little less attentive as time went on, and the restaurant... More

We loved our dinner here! The food and service was excellent. The kids loved the "backyard games", which made the dinner very enjoyable for everyone. This was the best meal we ate during our whole vacation on Hilton Head.

Went during lunch to avoid the crowds (highly recommend). Food was wonderful, patio was wonderful (an air conditioned outside), the kids loved the games. Must visit if going to hhi.

We loved our dinner. We had a short wait but we're able to have a glass of wine while we listened to a entertainer singing and played the quaint yard games with our son. Fun! We were able to eat outside under the big umbrella and it was lovely. Our food was delicious! I had a shrimp and fried green... More

Went with another family and teenage kids. Was skeptical when we pulled up but looks are deceiving. Friendly knowledgeable service but not rushed. Above all excellent food and drinks. And reasonably priced. Seating is a little cozy and can be a little noisy but overall great laid back atmosphere. You almost feel like you've stepped back to a simpler time.... More

Currently best restaurant on HH by far! Shorts casual, tiny dining areas inside and out, long waits with outdoor music. Shrimp & Grits, crab cakes and Charleston Flounder worthy for foodies.

It was 95 degrees the evening we visited with little kids in tow. But the "backyard" was shady, live music was playing and the kids enjoyed the various games and toys while the adults enjoyed beers and sweet tea cocktails. The wait was quoted as 30-40 minutes (we arrived just before 6 on a Thursday in late Aug) but we... More

We went to this wonderful little restaurant on our last night in Hilton Head. I wish we had tried it earlier in our trip because we would have eaten there every night! Great "low-country" food and friendly service. I can't wait to go back.

I have visited HHI six times now, and sadly only discovered Low Country on the fifth visit- but it has become a MUST for my family and friends when we vacation here. Yes, you will likely have to wait for a table during prime dinner hours but it will certainly be worth the wait. The shrimp and grits has become... More

Had lunch here and really enjoyed it. The Grilled Pimento Cheese was wonderful. We also had the vegetable of the day which was lima beans and we have never tasted better. We look forward to our next visit.
