Nice, cozy British-style pub

It's hard to rate a restaurant based on one visit. But the two of us were both pleased and disappointed. The brunch egg omelette was an excellent choice and was both tasteful and filling. But the fish and chips was not. They were quite greasy (not always a bad thing!) without a lot of fish flavour... read more

We have been going to HHI for the week the last 15 years. This is a must stop each year. It is very popular with the locals. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent American and British cuisine. If you are lucky enough to be there on Meat Loaf night, don't shun away from it, it is a... More

We had visited a couple years ago and visited twice during the same week...with two different sets of guests. Good food...especially loved the fish and chips...their signature. Great service. Prices are reasonable...but ain't cheap. Make reservations or you will likely be closed out...especially on weekends.

My wife thinks they have too much breading but I think the Fish and Chips are perfect. The Lobster Pot Pie is great if you can afford the 5000 extra calories. My only complaint is that their draft beer is always flat. I think there must be too much soap in their mugs or something.

It is very difficult to find properly prepared liver in an American restaurant. Being from Germany I tried, and very much enjoyed their properly cooked, and spiced small liver

We actually stopped here to finish watching a football game and it was a fun experience which resulted in a later visit for dinner. We sat at the bar and conversation flowed freely between customers and Derek the bartender. Their special boards looked very good and we decided to return for their Wednesday Prime Rib special at Derek's suggestion. We... More

Every dish I have tried is exceptional, the bartenders are friendly and helpful, and the whiskey pours are out of this world.

Great spot - good selection of draft beer, and British fare. We had the Fish & Chips, and Chicken Pot Pie. Service was great. If your a golfer you will love the atmosphere

Stopped in for lunch and was seated immediately. Staff was friendly and plesant. Nice selection of items on the menu. Tried the beef cottage pie and it was delicious - also had the bread pudding and it was very good. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Brunch at the British Open Pub is a very good thing. Although I prefer the throwback buffet champagne brunch, I realize these are getting harder and harder to find. This was a great alternative. They offer bottomless champagne or mimosa for $4.49 and although it wasn't fine quality, it is festive and tasty. My husband got the clubhouse classic-3 eggs,... More
