Better hurry for this great lunch place

Nice stop for lunch. Its kinda hidden in the shopping center but worth the effort to find it. Light sandwich fares including chicken salad but the best is the desert. Way too many choices. The scones were excellent. I heard that the owners of the shopping center were selling out and it looks like... read more

Looking for baked goods for breakfast or a snack on Hilton Head? You have to try the French Bakery!! We enjoyed every bite of the almond croissant, twisted chocolate and multi-berry scone. My hubby was one of the 1st at the bakery so I was treated with a freshly, baked almond croissant...it was still warm. WORTH EVERY CALORIE!!!! So glad... More

Cute little bakery, fresh baked goods every day. The croissants were so buttery, flaky wonderful, filled with chocolate unlike many bakeries that fill croissant with a teeny bit. Also tried the quiche Lorraine, which was sensational. They also have sandwiches to go.

I really like the cranberry/apricot, herb, and also the pimetto cheese breads. The three different breads are so good. I love the cranberry/apricot as french toast and also with chicken.

If you want to buy a great loaf of bread made the old fashioned way this is the place to go. You can choose from a large assortment of freshly made breads, have a pastry and coffee or a nice sandwich.

I am surprised by the good to great ratings of this restaurant. I have tried two or three times and have been disappointed each time. Today I decided to try the chicken salad over lettuce that seemed to get rave reviews on trip advisor. I couldn't even tell that it was chicken salad. It was mush/babyfood consistency on top of... I was in Hilton Head for a week and a half. This was one of the first places we went for breakfast. The quiche was the best I've ever had. Their "no name" soup was excellent. We bought cranberry/apricot and A cheese bread to take home. We also went on my last day in Hilton Head... I took a loaf... More

It is remarkable, indeed, for a continental bakery to be located on Hilton Head Island. The bakery was founded by a French couple, years ago, and it is now owned by a Polish family, with the father functioning as the principle baker. I am not aware of a bakery within hundreds of miles where you could find raisin brioche, In... More

Everything is baked fresh daily. Love the orange cranberry bread. . Sandwiches and homemade soups are a lunchtime treat.
