This little cafe always has excellent, tasty dishes and always delivers wonderful food and service. A favorite of locals for business lunches plus a great place for dinner. Right in the heart of downtown Greer.

Excellent food! Excellent atmosphere! Probably the best restaurant in Greer. It is pricey but that goes with the territory of eating out at a nice restaurant. Rumor has it it's the most haunted area in Greer too so that kind of fun too. ;-)

The food was good. They charge you the same price for a glass of water as they do for tea. Way over priced for the tiny dessert you are served. Won't go back.

We enjoyed the Cuban sandwich, the black bean soup, and Caesar salad so much for Thursday night's dinner that we returned for a sandwich and soup Friday at lunch. The staff were welcoming and attentive.

Some of the best pork and salmon I have ever had. Great, personal service. The pesto rice and fried plantains are so tasty!

I've been here multiple times ... lunch and dinner, business and casual. It is quickly becoming a favorite place for everything. The Cuban sandwich is perfect, the entrees are outstanding. When they have escolar as a fish catch of the day, go for it! The steaks are good. The sausage appetizer is great. In fact, I could just check off... More

Since moving to Greer, we've eaten at Cafe Rivera's several times and have never been disappointed. Their Angus burgers are absolutely fantastic. But, my favorite is their Cuban pork dish. Slow roasted pork set on a bed of rice and beans with creme fresh and pickled onions. A side of wonderfully cooked green beans comes with. It is fabulous. My... More

I had high hopes for this place looking at the menu on several stops to a nearby restaurant in the past. Iliked the atmosphere and certainly, I look forward to Cuban style cuisine, but I have to say, this place disappointed. Even the basic empanadas were really quite poor. Neither party liked the the two entrees we got either. Will... More

Staff is very friendly, owner is very cordial and inviting. Flavor profile of the food is not appealing. Spent $100 on 2 for dinner and left still very hungry. Filet ($33) seemed to be a good cut of meat but was swimming in a sort of sweet and tangy, intolerable sauce. Could barely force myself to eat 1/4 of it.... More
