This is a very middle of the road restaurant. They cover everything with red sauce. The best I can say was the service was good, it was reasonably priced and the food was hot. But the veal was tough and smothered in tomato sauce. The salad was ice berg lettuce, celery and some cherry tomatoes... read more

Capris is a fun little restaurant. We were in Greenwood for the Aviation Expo. We went to Capris on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly and had a great server. I had manicotti. (It came with soup... yummy! and salad... well, it was fine, but it was just a salad.) They have four or five sauces you can choose... More

We went here on a tip from our hotel and it really was not our thing. To be fair, we asked for Italian, and we were in Greenwood, SC. No offense to the area, but deep south is not known for incredible Italian. First the good. The place is very clean and the service was attentive. It was not a... More

Visited Capri's in Greenwood for my wife's birthday. The service was great and the food was excellent again. That was my second trip in-a-row with an outstanding meal. It is now apparent that Capri's decided to improve food preparation so that the old customers would return. I had the Chicken Parmesan and my wife had her standard Lasagna. There's only... More

Arrived at restaurant around 6pm on sat, my party of 4 was seated right away. Wine list did not exsit, described like a wal-mart shelf display. We ordered our main dishes and hour later they arrived, my wife's veal parmasian was all salty sauce with very little meat. I had cold chopped steak and a great microwave baked potato. If... More

We arrived at about 6:00. There was a bus parked behind the restaurant and we were sure we'd have an hour wait. Nope, we were seated first thing! Our waiter appeared in a timely manner, took our orders and kept us right on schedule. I had the Parmesan Chicken with an Italian Salad and my wife had her usual Lasagna.... More

Although it's billed as an Italian restaurant and the Italian choices are very good, the beef and seafood choices are also great. Portions are quite generous and they'll happily package up leftovers. Weekend specials are generally worth choosing -- especially if they have the ribs... don't miss those! Melt in your mouth good.

Limited wine list but what they had was reasonably priced. Food was very good and again reasonably priced. They were quiet on the night we went so service was excellent (not to say it wouldn't be on a busy night) Basic Italian food with a home cooked feel. If in the area would go again.

This is a great place to eat. The bread is good, sweet tea is great. Food is great ( I love the Melt and waffle fries.) The only draw back I have is that it is dark inside. It takes a minute or two for your eyes to adjust from the sun (if you are eating at lunch).

Huge portions would be my only complaint. Italian salad was delicious and could have been a meal in itself. My husband loved the minestrone soup so much, he said he could have just had a second bowl of that for his meal. It was hardy with perfect seasoning. I had hand rolled manicotti which had that wonderful taste of homemade... More
