Description: Larkin’s on the River is an award-winning restaurant serving premium cut steaks, fresh seafood, and fine wines. Every menu item is created with the freshest ingredients and served with a creative flair. Larkin’s on the River at the Peace Center for the performing arts, is situated in the heart of downtown Greenville, along the banks of the Reedy River, in the old Gower Coach Factory. With beautiful preserved exposed brick walls and open ceilings, the history of the building serves as the perfect backdrop to the modern and hip atmosphere Larkin’s on the River offers.

This restaurant is fantastic. Located in an old renovated Textile building on the river. Food, service and ambiance. All the steaks are cooked perfectly. A little pricey but worth every bite.

My husband and I visit Greenville several times throughout the year. When attending events at the Peace Center we always make reservations at Larkin's. We have never had a disappointing meal. The free valet parking is an added bonus if you are attending the Peace Center because you don't have to pay the high price to park in the garage... More

My husband & I celebrated our anniversary here and found the food delicious. The service was good and if the weather is right, Larkin's has a lovely place to sit out back overlooking the river.

We chose Larkins for my wife's first of two nights of dinners for her birthday. She and our daughter's favorite meal is NY strip steak and for us Larkins serves the best steak in GV. I am picky about wine and sometimes it takes 15 to 30 minutes for me to select a bottle from an extensive wine list like... More

Dined here to celebrate a birthday. The food was good, but we were a bit disappointed in the service. While our waiter, was attentive, he seemed a bit distracted. My husband's meal, rack of lamb, was not cooked the way he ordered it (it was raw, not medium rare); it was returned to the kitchen (something we don't really like... More

We dined indoors due to the summer heat but there is also a lovely patio for dining and a view of the river. The menu was varied and though it had some of the typical offerings you would expect for fine dining the preparation was unique and delicious. I had the scallop and shrimp salad which was devine and then... More

We ordered take out from Larkins while staying at the Hampton. I know we called late in the evening, between 8:45 and 9:00, but we were told it would be delivered within 30 minutes. Called again just before 10 and was told it was on its way. They didn't charge a delivery fee because of the delay and the food... More

We went to Larkin's on a suggestion from friends. We were headed to a show at the Peace center and this restaurant is located right next to the venue. I ordered the Tuna and it was excellent. My wife ordered a steak medium, but it came out rare. The waiter was very concerned and took it back to the kitchen.... More

I have been wanting to go to Larkin's for a while now, and finally made it there. We had reservations, and table was ready for us. The menu offers a variety of foods, and so does the drink menu. I chose to fixed price menu, dinner choices being either steak, chicken, or seafood. I went with a house salad (divine),... More

Menu has changed and lunch does not offer enough choices. It's a lazy cooks' menu. $9.00 for French fries?!
