Our dinner at Larkin's On the River was wonderful. The food and cocktails were perfectly prepared and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us advice and made us feel special. It's a great experience to have a top class mean in a comfortable atmosphere. Special, but not stuffy.

We went on a night with a concert at the Peace amphitheater next door. We had to eat inside, as the outdoor tables were already reserved. Our poor waitress had to deal with our order as well as a completely PACKED bar, due to so many people from the concert coming in for drinks. Fortunately, we were not in a... More

Fabulous patio dining option, unfortunately it was too "humid" for our likings so we ate inside which was nice as well. We had 8pm reservations and arrived early and were accommodated at a high top table by the door in order to get in faster. Our appetizer was Bacon wrapped scallops. Scallops cooked to perfection, I prefer no bacon but... More

Haven't eaten in the restaurant as such, but a catered breakfast upstairs left a lot to be desired. Old pastries. No tea. Had to look for the lone server. Based on this experience we skipped it for dinner time.

We were at Larkin's with a large group in their upstairs section which is great for a large, private function. The restaurant downstairs is very nice with views of the river section. Excellent service for our breakfast buffet.

After really liking Larkin's for dinner we tried a Sunday brunch - that turned out to be a mistake. The shredded corn beef hash tasted like vinegar and was served cold. Larkin's country fried potatoes are a soggy mistake, covered in a sloppy tomato something sauce. Wife's eggs were also served cold. Tried the cinnamon bun, but it seemed to... More

We had a wonderful dinner here on a Wednesday and enjoyed the free concert at the Peace Center. The weather was perfect, the food was phenomenal and the service excellent. Eat outside when the weather cooperates. They have a great wine list with a lot of variety both in variety and prices. The food is pricey but wonderfully prepared and... More

Our diner ....two of us had the Salmon, one of us the Tuna...was done nicely. The waitstaff was efficient and handled my dietary restrictions well. I really liked the decor and location!

I have been to Larkins a good number of times but will not return. The quality of the food relative to its price clearly misses the mark. The service is very poor which surprises me given the number of great restaurants in Greenville. I spoke to the GM and now understand why the staff'a performance is sub-par. He was rude,... More
