Hubby made reservations and took me to dinner on a Saturday night. It is in a wonderful location on the banks of the river. It was a nice evening and we asked if we could dine on the patio. The hostess said that we had inside reservations. Odd, hubby said he was not given a choice. We were seated at... More

We've been here many times. When it first opened the chef was on top of everything and the staff was great. The last 3 times something has been wrong 2 bad steaks and cold food. The last time the steak tasted great but was cold and the side was cold. The manager was good about it, but I feel that... More

We recently ate at Larkins and the location was wonderful and the food was good. But it was just missing something that would have made it excellent.... But I am still trying to figure out what that thing is. The waiter was reasonably knowledgable about the menu but drew a blank regarding a wine suggestion for our meal. As acclaimed... More

This is our favorite restaurant in Greenville. The food is outstanding and the service is every thing you should expect in an upscale restaurant. When it is just the two of us, our favorite spot is the end of the bar by the server's station and being entertained by Jeremy and Tony, the bartenders. We have always been treated well... More

Our sizable group of had dinner this week at Larkin's on the River, and I think the restaurant is to be commended for doing a good job with the group. Service and delivery were well-coordinated. The food was very good, and the setting accommodating. Because it was a large group, the meals was a selection of three courses -- she... More

Brought out of town guests looking for a good steak to Larkins. For the price we paid, I would have expected much better: food was good but service was spotty (forgot soup and salad before bringing main course), sat at a foldable table outside... Unlikely we will return!

Wow! is the best description for the food here! I was here for a business dinner and the food and service were amazing. Unfortunately, after we ordered, our server returned to tell me that they were out of what I had ordered, but I still had an amazing filet. No complaints at all; I look forward to going back!

We been to Larkins countless times as a couple as well as in small groups for dinner and brunch. So we decided to have a large group of 20, go for my birthday! As always, it was AMAZING! Great service and the food was perfection! We have loved taking different friends that have never been, to get them "hooked" as... More

my daughter and I decided to have a mom / daughter evening. We chose to see The Wizard of Oz at the Peace Center and have dinner at Larkins. EXCELLENT choice as the Steak and lobster dinner was out of this world and the Creme Brulee' was to die for. Will be visiting there again real soon.
