Larkin’s on the River is an award-winning restaurant serving premium cut steaks, fresh seafood, and fine wines. Every menu item is created with the freshest ingredients and served with a creative flair. Larkin’s on the River at the Peace Center for the performing arts, is situated in the heart of downtown Greenville, along the banks of the Reedy River, in the old Gower Coach Factory. This is the only building remaining of the original eleven dating back to Civil War. With beautiful preserved exposed brick walls and open ceilings, the history of the building serves as the perfect backdrop to the modern and hip atmosphere Larkin’s on the River offers.

Larkin's....always a good choice.

We dine at Larkin's a couple of times a year. Most recently we celebrated my wife's birthday here and dined outside on the patio. It was a beautiful evening in early spring and we enjoyed every minute of it. We both love a nice medium rare steak and the sides to go with it. I had the filet and... read more

This was my first time at Larkin's, treating my daughter to dinner. It took a long time for our waitress to come to our table to take our drink orders which she could not keep straight and kept coming back to our table to recheck the simple drink order ( a martini and a lemonade). Ordering our appetizers, soups and... More

Thank you for sharing your experience and we are sorry that you were put into the service situation that you were. 45$ at Larkins, 34$ at Ric Erwin's for over seasoned good quality meat or $28 at Open Hearth for good quality meat. You make the call.

Had a Sunday brunch a few weeks ago and it was good so decided to make a reservation for dinner. We hadn't been to dinner at Larkins for many years and it will be many more before we return. Asked our server for a starter recommendation and she said the best was the bacon wrapped scallops. The dish was overlooked,... More

Very nice Easter brunch with family. Omelette bar had some interesting selections to add. Shrimp and grits were very good as was the fried chicken and desserts. Only suggestion would be to find a way to keep the veggies in the warming dishes hotter - they were luke warm at best. Service was very friendly and a wonderful atmosphere and... More

Thanks for taking the time to share your insights about our Easter Brunch. We serve the same style buffet for Mother's Day and we have taken your concern to heart about the food being served hot and we are changing our style of chafing dish to help ensure it happens. More

We had a quick, pre-theater, though very good meal. The shrimp and grits were fantastic and others in the party had the pre-fixe which was a great deal. We'll be back the next time we are in Greenville.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times on visits to Greenville and have not been disappointed. The chef definitely knows how to cook a steak to perfection. We had two appetizers at the table - truffled fries and the shrimp and crab dip. Both were enjoyed by all. The creme brulee was quite tasty. This restaurant is so conveniently... More

I really enjoyed Larkins on the River! I had the special, which was a crab stuffed flounder. It was amazing! The Brussels Sprout Hash was fantastic. After dinner, stroll over to the Liberty Bridge at Falls Park on the Reedy. It's breathtaking.
