We had a wonderful dinner here on a Wednesday and enjoyed the free concert at the Peace Center. The weather was perfect, the food was phenomenal and the service excellent. Eat outside when the weather cooperates. They have a great wine list with a lot of variety both in variety and prices. The food is pricey but wonderfully prepared and... More

Our diner ....two of us had the Salmon, one of us the Tuna...was done nicely. The waitstaff was efficient and handled my dietary restrictions well. I really liked the decor and location!

I have been to Larkins a good number of times but will not return. The quality of the food relative to its price clearly misses the mark. The service is very poor which surprises me given the number of great restaurants in Greenville. I spoke to the GM and now understand why the staff'a performance is sub-par. He was rude,... More

Bacon wrapped chicken---excellent. Potatoes au gratin----excellent. Sauteed spinach----excellent. The creme brulee for dessert was the best my wife and I have ever eaten. Excellent upscale restaurant. Nice touch on the free glasses of champagne for our anniversary.

Before a Peace Center performance we had a delicious meal. The she crab soup was terrific. The filet mignon was so tender you could almost cut it with a fork. The veal special was superb. A great place for a group or a romantic meal.

After a perfect meal at Rick Erwin's, this one fell short. Waiter was extremely slow, shrimp and grits were good but not outstanding, and so the value just wasn't there. The outdoor seating was very nice as was the entertainment on the nearby outdoor stage, so the evening wasn't a bust.

The building is beautiful and the location is perfect. Perhaps that is why they feel they can charge so much! The food was average and so was the service. Went in for an early dinner so the restaurant was not very crowded. Service took very long. The table side Caesar salad was so salty we barely ate any of it.... More

We sat outside because this restaurant has a really nice terrace next to a fountain. They have an extensive wine list and hit all price points. The service was excellent. We had the crab & shrimp dip which was excellent along with sea bass and brussel sprouts. When we told them why we were in town (30th anniversary), they treated... More

Eight of us dined at Larkins prior to attending a play next door. Tremendous wait staff and atmosphere. Pricey, but worth every bit. If you like Caesar salad I would highly recommend the Caesar prepared at the table. 90th percentile of all Caesars. Steaks cooked perfectly as requested.

There may be "flashier" places in Greenville but my vote for best all-around experience is at Larkin's. The food is fantastic - their salmon makes me "ummm" out loud. Sitting outside is a hoot for people-watching and the inside is all dark and full of character, very romantic. If something's not right, they'll fix it but all in all, this... More
