A Must Try

Had lunch on a Saturday with a group of friends. We all selected something different and everyone was pleased with their choice then shared the Fried Bourbon Bread Pudding. Excellent food was service in a relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait to return and try something different.

Downtown Greenville is a great spot but super busy on the weekends. I would recommend call ahead for this restaurant. My co-worker and I visited for dinner on the recommendation of a friend who lived in the area. It's a bit noisy but the atmosphere is trendy and fun! The cornbread is a nice treat at the table while you... More

Stopped by for a quick beer and appetizer as it was supposed to be the "Best Happy Hour in Greenville". We didn't find the best happy hour, but we did find very good service, nice atmosphere and great food. We sat on a couch and enjoyed a couple of beers and their twist on a beef brisket quesadilla. Skeptical at... More

Rating would be perfect if the Low Country Boil special for that Saturday had already run out by 1pm. Food was good with a broad enough selection to please a group which may have picky eaters. You fend for yourself for parking, but it's located in a trendy little downtown area. Blues music in the background and exposed brick made... More

I visited several times with family and business associates. The ribs are outstanding. I love the variety of the side dishes. Nice proportions. Whenever I'm in Greenville I try to go there.

Recommended by the staff at Homewood Suites, this was a super choice among dozens availabel on a Sunday eve stroll through the lovely downtown. We dined on smoked chicken and crab cakes which were very good - not tops. But the sides...worthy of a return trip! Sides MADE the meal: braised greens in a yummy broth with a tinge of... More

In a state full of good BBQ, Smoke on the water stands out. We've taken guests there and devoured a table full of fantastic food. The service is efficient and friendly and the location is very convenient.

You can't get a reservation - you call ahead (or show up) and you get put on a list - we called ahead, got put on a list. Got there on time, were told it would be 20 minutes wait - 50 minutes later, we finally got a table. There is no space inside the door to wait, so we... More

From the statue of Shoeless Joe Jackson outside to the warm and inviting enviroment inside, Smoke On The Water provided an enjoyable place to celebrate my grandsons college graduation. The food is the best and makes my mouth water thinking about it. Would highly recommend making a trip to downtown Greenville to this special restaurant.

This was the first fine dinning restaurant that we tried when we moved here 4 years ago. It is always my favorite place to go.. It is the fine dinning, with casual dress. We always take our out of town guest there for a meal. We like to eat our on the back patio even if it is a little... More
