We've eaten here three times now and it is consistently excellent. Food is perfect and service is amazing. It's a bit pricey, but worth it! Try the blue cheese wedge salad. Usually bland, but with their homemade dressing , it's a star.

Most likely the best steaks in Greenville are here. Service and food are very good. Just the right level of attention to detail and noir too intrusive so you can have a comfortable conversation. She crab soup is creamy and good, but could be a bit more concentrated. Staff was quick to correct any mis-understanding on our order. Good choice... More

We visited the Chophouse 47 restaurant and had an awesome meal. My wife and I enjoyed perfectly cooked steaks and our very picky son loved the chicken. The service was top notch. The only thing that we would have changed is for them to remove a few tables and give everybody a little more space...we were crammed right against our... More

Great, great steak house, expensive, but the food was top notch. Sides big enough to share and our filets were melt in your mouth tender. Martinis shaken tableside to ensure icy cold goodness; Absolut oyster shooters were a delightful surprise and reason alone to visit this restaurant. Service impeccable; a truly wonderful dining experience.

The staff is not friendly, service is slow, you're asked to sit at the bar for dinner without any other alternative and find yourself eating in the middle of smokers with the ugly smell and smoke of cigarettes and cigars. Otherwise meat is good

I normally don't write reviews but my husband and I were so disappointed in our experience that I decided to do so. The oyster rock feller and ceasar were delicious. For our entrees he ordered Lobster and I ordered the 12 oz. filet. Good thing I ordered a large steak because after one bite of the lobster, my lobster loving... More

Thank you for your recent celebratory visit to Chophouse '47. I appreciate the feedback and positive notes on your dining experience with the Caesar salad and Oysters Rockefeller. In terms of your lobster, we never want to speculate why our guests aren't eating. On a future visit, please seek a manager and note to them this experience, we'll be sure... More

We stumbled upon this place for a place to grab a bite to eat because it was near our hotel. I was expecting a casual steakhouse. Not realizing this is an upscale, fine dining restaurant (should have checked tripadvisor first) we felt underdressed. Nevertheless, the hostess seated us without batting an eye and we were welcomed just the same. This... More

Go to Chophouse 47. Order Oysters Rockefeller, the 8 ounce filet, a loaded baked potato and asparagus ( with holland aisle). After you enjoy the meal, compare it to any restaurant. Chophouse is hard to beat. Only problem is that service is relatively in personal and way too quick. The solution to the quick service is to order slowly, one... More

My wife and I are steak lovers. Our best meal ever was at Asador Sagaratoki in Vitoria-Gastiez Spain followed closely by Peter Luger's in Brooklyn. We went to Chophouse 47 for the first time for our 36th wedding anniversary (married as children). We ordered the Porterhouse for two, creamed spinach, a bacon starter and a bottle of red wine. The... More
