From the moment we stepped from yhecar we knew we were in for some awesome beef. The smell permeated the air anc our mouths began to water. From the appetizer of grilled bacon to the seared mefium rare filet to the cheesecake brought in from Carnegie Deli, I was in culinary heaven. Our waiter was... read more

The Chophouse is an excellent and elegant restaurant. There claim to fame is the cooking style which uses a super high temperature to char a thin layer on the outside, while the inside the meat is nicely cooked to what ever doneness you prefer. Everything is ala carte. The only freebie is water, so you can easily spend $50/person or... More

The Chophouse is my favorite restaurant. I've been going there for years. The staff is always friendly, well informed of the menu and the service is prompt. The food is terrific and evenly priced for such an establishment. The best thing that I love is the atmosphere. The era in which its placed, the ambiance of dim lights, puts you... More

Decided to go here as I was in the mood for a steak. After walking in I was greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly seated. While I was looking around, the place was richly decorated and feels like a nice steakhouse should. Like others have said, I did notice the smell of cigar smoke when walking it but it... More

They have the best Caesar salad I've ever had. Their steaks are excellent. I love the atmosphere in the bar, large rounded comfortable booths, quiet, and intimate.

Having visited the restaurant several times, my European clients pick this as their favorite. They love the food, atmosphere and exceptional service. We would prefer the restaurant to be smoke free but understand you "sell" cigars.

Steak was best you will find anywhere outside a major city. Cooked at 1700 degrees, it was tender and juicy. Filet Mignon the best. Bread was very good. Warm and crusty. Could probably serve some flavored whipped butter, but butter pad was soft and easy to spread. Sides were made for two or more. They did not offer half sides.... More

Ok, upon entering we did smell the tobacco smoke as mentioned and there was one fellow smoking a cigar as is allowed but upon arriving at our table it was no longer noticeable. We had many servers and they were all friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, my husband said the salmon was to die for! As the evening... More

This was not our first time at this establishment. Our memories are better than our experience this time. The food was very good! The cut of meat one of the best! The seafood bisque was fabulous as was the cheese mashed potatoes. However, the grated cheese on the Caesar salad seemed like it came from a jar... should've had some... More

Hi Lynne, We strive for everything to be top notch, as you stated, so to know that the carts, smoke and pace of your service made you unhappy is disappointing. I have passed your feedback on to management. Thank you for visiting. More
