Having eaten at High Cotton in Charleston we decide to try the Greenville store as we were in town for the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert. We arrived a few minutes early and had a cocktail at the bar. The drink was a Spicy Chihuahua and was made with Tequila, St. Germain, Grapefruit Bitters and something else. It was delicious. When... We were going there prior to going to the peace center right across the river. We arrived at happy hour and I would say this is kne of the best in Greenville. Specialty drinks are $5 , house wine and Stella were $4 and beer was $3. That's hard to beat for such a great location. When we sat for... More

On an extended stay in Greenville, we visited nearly every restaurant in downtown Greenville and this was our favorite. We ate brunch here once and dinner too many times to count over a two month period. Everything we tried was very good to excellent with everything possible sourced from SC. Many of the vegetables we had at the restaurant were... More

We were celebrating our anniversary in Greenville. This was our first time visiting this city and many restaurants were recommended. We ate at 4 fine dining restaurants as well as a couple of casual places. Although service at every place we ate was excellent, the service at this restaurant far exceeded that of any of the others. Our server Cornelius... More

The food here is excellent, as is the atmosphere. The happy hour from 4-6:30 everyday is unbeatable in Greenville considering that the mixed drinks are among the best in town.

My husband and I recently visited Greenville and had dinner at High Cotton. It was a Sunday night so the restaurant was not that crowded. We were seated at a window seat with great views of the Reedy river and river walk area. The wait staff was very polished and professional. Although somewhat pricey, the dinner was wonderful and the... More

I had brunch here and just loved it. Not only was the food delicious but there was a live jazz quartet playing and the view of the River and Main Street was very enjoyable. The she-crab soup and brioche french toast were fabulous and I highly recommend the bloody-marys. Will go back for sure.

Waited about 15 minutes before a server joined us and we were told that food wasn't being served until 4, while other tables were served food. Drinks were good though. Perhaps we caught them an off day.

It may be large, but that's just so you can enjoy the view of the River and Main Street. Sit right down and enjoy this comfortable restaurant. Friendly staff and fresh well prepared meals will welcome you every time! Some of our favorites are the pork chop, shrimp and grits, and the veggie plate. If you are unsure where to... More
