Not Worth The Money Won't Be Back

We had not been to Stax in a couple of years...A lot has changed. I ordered the Sesame Tuna, what a disappointment. It tasted like food service..I didn't see any sesame seeds, it looked like bread crumbs and was very thick and heavy. I ordered it medium rare, more to the rare side. It came out... read more

We had the fried lobster tail to start, the steak was excellent in flavor and even the lemonade was extremely tasty and we will certainly go back, quite expensive. Our waiter was either extremely new or on drugs as simple requests took him extended time as well as he was very brief with description such as Manhattan chowder was "you... More

This was our first trip to Stax. Food was very good. The ribeye might have been the best ribeye I've ever ate. My wife got the filet and she loved it also. Restaurant is a little outdated and could use some remodeling. They also do not have ANY beer on tap. Would definitely eat here again.

I truly enjoy the Stax family of restaurants and always make a point to visit one of their locations when I'm in town. The salmon at Stax's Grill is always amazing. The staff are always friendly. I will definitely be back again.

This is a regular lunch spot for me when meeting business professionals for lunch. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is always good. As the "gluten free girl" now, there a some entrees that I used to love that are not an option for me but there is plenty that I can eat. If you don't have gluten... More

Monday we stopped in for lunch for the first time. Great atmosphere, very attentive service and the food was terrific. My wife had their Mai Mai special and I tried their Blackened Chicken Alfredo. Both were very tasty and fresh. Tuesday we were in the same neighborhood for appointments, so stopped in again for lunch. She had their Blackened Tilapia... More

I took my mother to lunch at Stax's Grill, today, and was wowed by the lovely setting. Old fashioned tile entry and clean, warm decor. The server helped my mother through the doors while I was parking. Good introduction. We were seated by a very helpful young lady, and I'm sorry I didn't get her name, because she was the... More

I have been going to Stax for well over 10 years now. Saturday my son and I went for dinner, and we both got the large cut of prime rib. We shared an appetizer of greek ribs. The appetizer was kind of small but very tender and tasty. We usually share an appetizer, but this one would be best for... More

I have been eating at Stax Grill for years but haven't been there in a year or so. I took my husband there for his birthday lunch. I ordered chicken salad salad and while the salad was delicious the smallish portion of chicken salad wasn't the signature salad I had grown to love over the years. It was runny and... More

There are many great restaurants in downtown Greenville, but Stax's Grill is a great place to eat if you need to stop off of I 385. Tasty bread, soup, salads, and Gyros. Try the cannoli cake - very good. Would definitely eat here again.
