Good food

I ate here with a business group. We were seated in a side room for more privacy which was nice. We had a limited menu because of the nature of the group. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. The wait staff was polite and efficient.

Just because they have been around a long time does not mean they are outdated. They are consistently great with the feel of an old school steakhouse. Want exceptional service? Ask for Merdad. Glasses never went empty, bread was replenished instantly. The rib eye was sublime, new York strip melted in the mouth. Warm crusty rolls, soft butter, fresh salads... More

I took my son and daughter out for dinner and we decided on Stax Grill as we knew they had good fish and steaks. I had been here before about five years ago and satisfied. Red was our waiter and did a very good job. He mentioned they had a NY Strip that would melt in my mouth. I thought... More

Ordered ribeye, loaded baked potato with wedge salad. Salad was delicious but the potato was less than average and the steak was on par with a budget steakhouse.

We had not been to Stax in a couple of years...A lot has changed. I ordered the Sesame Tuna, what a disappointment. It tasted like food service..I didn't see any sesame seeds, it looked like bread crumbs and was very thick and heavy. I ordered it medium rare, more to the rare side. It came out medium well. It was... More

We had the fried lobster tail to start, the steak was excellent in flavor and even the lemonade was extremely tasty and we will certainly go back, quite expensive. Our waiter was either extremely new or on drugs as simple requests took him extended time as well as he was very brief with description such as Manhattan chowder was "you... More

This was our first trip to Stax. Food was very good. The ribeye might have been the best ribeye I've ever ate. My wife got the filet and she loved it also. Restaurant is a little outdated and could use some remodeling. They also do not have ANY beer on tap. Would definitely eat here again.

I truly enjoy the Stax family of restaurants and always make a point to visit one of their locations when I'm in town. The salmon at Stax's Grill is always amazing. The staff are always friendly. I will definitely be back again.

This is a regular lunch spot for me when meeting business professionals for lunch. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is always good. As the "gluten free girl" now, there a some entrees that I used to love that are not an option for me but there is plenty that I can eat. If you don't have gluten... More

Monday we stopped in for lunch for the first time. Great atmosphere, very attentive service and the food was terrific. My wife had their Mai Mai special and I tried their Blackened Chicken Alfredo. Both were very tasty and fresh. Tuesday we were in the same neighborhood for appointments, so stopped in again for lunch. She had their Blackened Tilapia... More
