Food is ALWAYS great at the Pita House. My favorite is Chicken Shawrama over Hummus. Delicious - simply delicious. Also the best Middle Eastern grocery I've been to. If there's another in this area I don't know about it!

This was a new experience for me. I read the reviews on TripAdvisor and saw that this place was listed at #3 of 755 restaurants in the greater Greenville area. I had high hopes that the food was as good as advertised. I was not impressed with the fact that they did not accept either Debit or Credit cards so... More

I have been to Pita house a half dozen times. And every time I leave I ask myself "why did I come"? I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food. First, bring cash - it's all they take. Really? Is 2014, are they keeping their money under their mattresses still? Food wise some things are very poor for example the shawarma, lots of... More

The Pita House has the best & most authentic Lebanese food in Greenville. The Baba Ganoush & freshly baked Pita Bread are outstanding!

First let me say the only reason I am rating four star instead of five is their lack of credit card acceptance. If you love hummus then this is the only place in the upstate to get it and it taste good. I eat there every time I am on that side of town. Not only is the hummus great,... More

As a vegetarian, this is a great place to get some good veggie food! They have great falafel and hummus. I will definitely come back when visiting the area!

We have not had great Middle Eastern food since we moved from Michigan. Had to try this place, and so glad we did. The food was delicious, meat was tender, and best hummus I've had since we left Michigan in 2006. We could not resist the baked goods, and glad we didn't - outstanding. Talked to the owner's sons, or... More

Take out LUNCH... Was a good spread for under $8. Had the Middle East Plate w/ Gyro. The hummos was good, as good as home made with a couple of olives and pickles carrots for garnish. The falafel was big and bold, not over greasy or over done. Not bland either. The Gyro a blend of beef and lamb was... More

I grew up eating Lebanese every weekend in Ohio. Even though this wasn't the best, it was pretty good. Kibbi, hummus awesome. Shawarma tasty but a little dry. Grape leaves better than average. Overall--a real treat.
