After driving 7.5 hours to get to Greenville for a business trip, my first thought was to get a good craft beer in town. Barley's is somehow capable of pulling off a family friendly atmosphere - probably because the pizza is so great. Whether you're drinking sweet tea or craft brew, its a must do on the list of restaurants in SC

So barleys isn't the flashiest or the newest, but man does it deliver. endless beer options. Cheap but delicious pizza and fresh pizza by the slice. Great pub atmosphere, quick service. Great place to meet a large group and especially great place to take people new to Greenville.

This is one of my favorite pizza locations in Greenville and the only one that I will eat a slice if I have to (I prefer to order a whole pie). This a seat yourself during the day but the wait staff is friendly and orders are delivered faster than slow. Tough to find parking but no issues if you... More

Used to say there wasn’t a bad place to eat in downtown Greenville, but have changed my mind. Driven past it several times but the parking is difficult, so hadn’t been there before. I hesitate to write a bad review on one trip but not going back. The positive is a large place and good perhaps for large parties who... More

Great food, and great draft beer. Lots of draft selections to compliment all tastes. Pizza is really good.

Barley's is a great place to go for a very extensive variety of beer, with an emphasis on craft and imports. They have excellent pizzas (Buffalo Shrimp, Margherita, and a Pepperoni were ones we have tried). The bartenders are great and can actually talk about the beer, not just read a label. The place can get quite busy but the... More

It's all about the beer ...eclectic draught menu - a few locals with many "imported" from out of state. Food is OK ... after all, it's all about the beer. Nice little sidewalk terrace where you can watch the local pickups drive by and pretend you're out of South Carolina (where sidewalk terraces with beer are kind of rare)

The beer selection is excellent. The menu is somewhat limited, but is veggie friendly. Waitstaff was attentive. Our meal was ruined by a family who allowed a small child to run around the restaurant "playing" a harmonica as loudly as possible. We couldn't get out fast enough - would've loved to stay for awhile.
