I stopped into Addy's for a nightcap, which is only a block off of Main St. Well worth stopping in because the bar has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere! I actually spoke with the owner for a little while and she was very inviting... The beer selection is very nice and even though I didn't have anything to eat,... More

Addy's has to be the kind of place you will return to again and again. The food is amazing and the service warm and friendly. Try the scallop cakes and the homemade Pea soup they are both so worth the trip.

An authentic Dutch "Brown Cafe" scooped up by a tornado and gently deposited in the middle of downtown Greenville, SC on East Coffee Street. Choose from an excellent selection of fine wines and imported beers and dine on German, Dutch, and Indonesian (former Dutch colony) cuisine. Come for the old world decor, stay for the food and beverages and you... More

So we came across Addy's as we were walking towards the more popular main street area of Greenville. We were attracted by the imported beer options along with the central european food options on the menu. The staff was great. The food options we tried were very good, especially the goulash, the red cabbage, and the schnitzel. The place is... More

This was our third visit in the last few weeks. Excellent food - especially the soups - and one of the best import beer menus. It's a great little hideaway! If you're lucky, Addy will sit with you and impart his wisdom.

In a time when Mexican and Asian restaurants seemingly are a dime a dozen and Italian restaurants are on every corner - it's refreshing to find diversity in the form of the unpretentious Central European comfort food so many of us grew up eating. Goulash, schnitzel, stroganoff, steak, seafood, mashed potatoes and cabbage - a sufficiently wide variety. Having said... More

We stopped in for a nightcap and met Kelly the server who was very helpful and gave us a great informative history lesson on Addy's. The place is just off the main street but has that old Eurpoean pub feel that we like. Stop in for a European meal and drink you won't regret it.

Addy's is a one-of-a-kind bar for Greenville. With a menu full of authentic Dutch food to a bar stocked with European beers (they do carry Michelob Light for the less adventurous types, but ask for it at your own peril), Addy's is the place to go when you need something a little bit different than the typical downtown bar/restaurant. I... More

We stopped here later after dinner upon recommendation by a really nice local person we met. Had apple strudel which was to die for. The food we saw looked awesome. Cozy, comfortable restaurant/bar.
