Come on down - the stairs that is - for good food and beer

Husbands favorite place in town. He loves the mussels. I love everything. The atmosphere is that of a Bavarian pub and the beer selection is second to none. Great spot.

The environment was very nice and unique. Even though there were a lot of people there, it was quiet and a pleasant dining experience. It was a good thing we weren't in a hurry though because the service is a bit slow. The food was delicious! I do recommend this place, just don't be in a hurry when you go.

Sunday, to our surprise features half price bottles of wine. Enjoyed a nice Oregon Pinot Noir. Ordered a charcuterie board, mussels steamed with white Belgium Ale, bleu cheese and bacon, (very very good) and finished with a crepe stuffed with triple cream cream cheese and drizzled with house made lemon curd and topped with candied nuts. Very nice afternoon! Very... More

My husband and I met a couple of friends here tonight. It's located in the basement underneath the same building that houses Barley's. Like other reviewers said, it was hot. The food was good but nothing you couldn't make at home. I had the beet salad that had about a quarter cup of beets and a tablespoon of goat cheese.... More

I met up with a group of co-workers here and after sitting down and looking around I noticed how unique this place is. It is located underneath another restaurant and you would think it would be a gloomy location, but it is the bit of darkness that adds to the charm. You almost feel like you are in a friends... We visited with another couple from out of town. First they wanted to seat us next to the kitchen. The AC wasn't working well in the restaurant to begin with and it was very hot next to the kitchen door. The hostess was not pleased when we asked to sit elsewhere. Then the waitress wanted us to listen when she... More
