Overwhelming selection of beer!

Food was good but the main fare at this restaurant is the incredible selection of beers. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Be aware that it is very noisy in the restaurant- not a great place if you want to have an intimate dinner or business conversation.

We were visiting Greenville City Center and asked a young couple for recommendations for a nice restaurant in the City Center. They recommended the Trappe Door which was a block away. As we entered and went down the long staircase we thought it might not be a good choice. Wrong impression- it was surprisingly good- nearly excellent. Trappe Door has... More

We were a little worried about what ti order. We have never been anywhere like this. Our server recommended the Cherry sausage so I went with that and the wife got the Steak Frites. Mine was very good and she lived her steak, it had a unique delicious flavor. We loved the fries and the mayos were good. Our server... More

Love it. The restaurant gets mobbed,so firstly make a reservation. The short ribs are fantastic , the salmon I heard was excellent. The french onion soup is like a brown gravy with a kick. Personally, I loved it. The ginger beer scrumptious. The brussel sprouts (like I've never eaten them like THIS) were AMAZING. I couldn't eaten that in itself... More

I had some friends from work in town and we decided to grab a drink after dinner. We ended up at trappe door. The selection of beers is phenomenal. They also have some really different and good mixed drinks. Very good atmosphere for a drink

I was impressed by the beverage selection. I went there for an after dinner drink, so I didn't try any of the food. The Moscow Mule was really good. I loved the architecture of the building, very unique. Our waitress was fun and went along with the group's sense of humor. Definitely a pleasant experience.

Very dark and being below street level really make this place feel like a dungeon. Lots of Belgian style beers to choose from, food was just ok.

The walnut encrusted pork loin was delicious and nicely presented. Maybe a little understaffed, but the bartender was helpful, and the Belgian atmosphere was comfortable.

My husband and I arrived at 10 minutes to 6 on a Saturday evening. The hostess told us as we did not have a reservation, they could not seat us until after 8, despite more than half the tables being empty. We elected to sit at the bar bc we thought we may have this problem no matter where we... More

Not a good choice if you are in a hurry with a hungry toddler but charming and mostly delicious. One of us had muscles and loved them. Two had ravioli and were very happy. I had the Croque Madame and, despite the overcooked egg on top, I was very happy with my choice. The potato soup was VERY different from... More
