My wife had the appetizer crab cake dish and a side Caesar salad. I had the Chicken club salad which were fried chicken strips over a spring mix of lettuce leaves. The crab cakes were excellent but my salad was one that left me thinking I could have gotten a better chicken salad at O'Charley's for less money. My wife... More

This is the third year we meet with good friends at the Green Room in downtown Greenville for dinner and watching the Christmas parade go by. If you haven't tried this spot it's excellent. The food is always top notch and will compare favorably with anything in town. It's small enough so you don't get lost in the shuffle. .... More

We had a reservation. They seated us, then no one came to the table until we asked for service. I think it was the hostess' fault, but who knows. We were served cold coffee on a cold night. Food was excellent, but we never got another cold coffee re-fill until the food was served, then no more re-fills until after... More

I wanted to have a "southern" meal in Greenville. I started with Tripadvisor to see my options The Green Room came up. It was an easy walk from our hotel. I loved the pictures of the exterior...and the interior. Exposed brick, Had a vintage feel but newer setting. I had the seared scallops with grits and pomegranate drizzle. I liked... More

My husband and I both LOVED The Green Room. We dined there last night, and our dining experience there was one of our favorites in a while. The ambiance was just the type we like - exposed brick wall, cozy, soft lighting (especially at the booths), and dressy casual attire. Courtney was a wonderful server - genuinely friendly, passionate about... More

I don't like my entree put on the table before I have even finished my salad. The cocktail was weak, salad was soggy, steak under cooked, crab cakes were lots of bread not much crab. We were being rushed from the minute we sat down.

Looking for someplace different for a Friday nite dinner in Downtown Greenville, SC. I go to TripAdvisor for a list of 'possibles' and most of all, REVIEWS. I always keep an open mind when there are negative reviews ... humans all have differing expectations and there was more good than bad. Since we had later evening plans, we were going... More

My wife insisted that I give a five because she fell in love with their French toast. We went there for brunch and were impressed. Food was very slow coming out but worth the wait. I had the soup sandwich combo, Caesar salad and a French dip. Salad was great and the sandwich was pretty good. Our server was very... More

I never thought I would say that a pan fried steak would be great, but I am. The pan fried steak and truffle fries were wonderful. Don't miss this hidden gem.

This restaurant was highly recommended by the concierge at hotel. We were seated, served our food and still did not have utensils which we needed to eat, ask waitress for utensils and were only given forks. Food was mediocre. Would not recommend.
