Worth an early morning walk up North Main Street...

Decided to pass on Sunday breakfast in the hotel restaurant & opted out of the java-shop standard fare to walk Main Street northward looking for a real breakfast. Crossed from Joel's Java to the across-Main other java that appeared to have even less to choose from & moved north. After a couple... read more

Tried The Green Room downtown for the first time and enjoyed it. Had the cantaloupe and cucumber gazpacho and then the spicy meatloaf. The atmosphere was quiet enough that we were able to carry on a conversation. The best part was our waiter, Matthew. It is rare that you get service with personality and a sense of humor and we... A fabulous restaurant for lunch and dinner on Main Street in downtown Greenville. Intimate and warm with a friendly, professional staff. For lunch get the Farmhouse Burger. Angus beef, provolone, bacon and a sunny side up egg. The best in town hands down. For dinner, get whatever Chef Mike is featuring or the Meatloaf. Never thought my wife's meatloaf could... More

We had a special evening on Mother's Day at The Green Room. The service was outstanding, just the right amount of attention, not rushed, very professional. The food was fresh and delicious - steak, salmon, trout, shrimp all cooked perfectly. And we were surprised to find out about the half price bottles of wine on Sunday! Thanks for a memorable... Very friendly host greeted us as we entered. They found us a table very quickly and went over the menu. All the sandwiches that we ordered were very good, hot and well prepared. I was really surprised at how good the sweet potato fires were! Plus the beer was very cold. Overall very good lunch

Group of us (6) ate lunch here mother's day weekend, of course with reservations. Some had burgers and others had breakfast (French Toast and Crab Cakes Benedict). All was very good and the wait staff very accommodating, even with a 4 week old along. Great lunch spot and I'm sure for dinner as well.

Sunday brunch on our anniversary was unfortunately just okay. I ordered the steamed mussels and a salad, and my husband ordered the Farmer's Burger. We sat at the bar to avoid a 35-40 wait for a table. We had to wait a long time for our food and were told that there were two large tables ahead of our order.... More

The food was passable I guess... The service was so awful it was hard to believe! There were 5 at the table. All 5 were given incorrect bills... And not just once or twice! One guy's bill was wrong 4 times. I had a salad and water. How complicated is that. Took 3 hours to get the meal and try... More

Must try the meatloaf, and of course the truffle fries. New favorite spot in Greenville! Also, reservations is a good idea for brunch on sundays.

Empty at 10 am on a Saturday but about half full when we left. I got the Eggs Benedict with pretty runny hollandaise and clumpy grits. My friend got the Green Room breakfast and they forgot her bacon. Overall just an average breakfast. The coffee was $3 a cup!!! For the price, I'll keep looking for a better brunch spot.
