We came from Atlanta to Greenville for a foodie weekend and decided to try The Lazy Goat. View was nice as it looked out over the river that runs through Greenville. We had the sprouts, goat cheese stuffed peppers, and mussels for starters and the Gnocchi for dinner. The sprouts were a little/lot dry and the mussels a bit salty.... More

If you are looking for the "Downtown Experience" this might be a good place to start...great view of the Reedy River...you are sitting above the river and have a great view as well of some of the neat buildings of downtown Greenville...good idea to have reservations though. I love their cheese plate...very tasty!...

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Preserved Lemon Shrimp. The sandwich was a good quality choice but the shrimp dish was amazing! Would have given a 5 rating but the hostess was very unfriendly.

Loved this place! The fried goat cheese balls were heaven. Nice atmosphere and great service. Great location as well. I liked the bar and mixed drinks. My only suggestion would be to put the Moscow Mule in Moscow Mule Mugs instead of glasses. I'll definitely be back!

Great place to meet for happy hour. Very good food, whether you share plates or get your own. Different combinations that are extremely tasty, and their wine selection is good. Beautiful windows all around to see the sites along the river, and they can host small parties for special events.

Lazy goat has a wonderful view of the bridge and dam with the peace center fountain and brick carriage venue. This has always been a favorite of mine for their unique dish and favors. Most item are served small plate and can be shared. I just had the opportunity to go there with the culinary tour. It was the last... More

We had reservations for 6:30, but had a fairly lengthy wait. The atmosphere was nice. My cocktail was not as requested. My husband and I ordered three starter items and split one entree. We were not overly impressed with any of the food. It wasn't horrible, but was the most expensive yet least impressive meal during our trip.

I eat out frequently in the downtown area. Usually business, but often family. I've taken European business associates to the Lazy Goat couple of times in the past. They still refer to it in emails. Lol... I think I rated it four stars back then. My wife has never been there, so she wanted to experience this restaurant based off... More
