The food is always consistently good. Believe it or not the Brussel Sprouts are exceptional! Nice patio overlooking the Reedy River. Make reservations for dinner. $$$ for dinner $$ for lunch.

I've had lunch here twice and enjoy their interesting versions of food. Their Cuban is excellent. The pizzas different. Grilled cheese unlike any other. Last time my shrimp dish wasn't as warm as it should be, but it was very good. The view, looking at the Peace Center from across the river and watching people below on the Swamp Rabbit... More

We tried this place twice for lunch while visiting Greenville. Its a really pretty restaurant and we loved the outdoor seating overlooking the river. The menu sounds very good, but the food falls short of the delicious sounding descriptions. Even though it is supposed to be Mediterranean inspired cuisine,I didn't find it so. The service was very good. We would... More

Right on the river running through downtown. Lovely window seating with a spectacular view. Food was good but nothing extraordinary. Menu was diverse with some interesting selections. It is a beautiful setting and would be nice for a date night or even a business meeting. If you are most concerned about the food, however, there are better options. Service was... More

I have driven through Greenville more than 200 times on the way to somewhere else. Until last night I had only stopped once and that was to "accept" a speeding ticket. Last night my wife and I drove to Greenville to have dinner with our daughter who is spending a few days in town on business. We left the restaurant... More

The Lazy Goat offers a varied menu with a Mediterranean flare and the perfect view of the river as a companion to the food. It makes an ideal lunch spot to meet friends and enjoy the cuisine delivered by an attentive wait staff.

we ate here in October, too cold to sit outside, but in summer what a great location overlooking the river. Food is meze style but multi cuisine. Surprisingly it worked very well. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended

The menu here has changed throughout the years, as they have changed head chefs a few times. Still, it won't disappoint as long as you have a taste for Mediterranean food. My favorites right now are the sausage fennel pizza (good for a big lunch or lunch and snack later) and the cuban sandwich. They always have interesting pasta and... More

We recently held a Special Family Event (50 People) at The Lazy Goat...we reserved the entire upstairs/Bar Level for our special night including a sit down dinner including casual live music entertainment. Working with the staff at The Lazy Goat was a pleasure. They were extremely professional, accommodating and very hospitable...the family style food presentation was simply delicious even including... My wife and I had dinner at the Lazy Goat on Halloween and really enjoyed it. Both the food and service were excellent. We have eaten dinner at many of the restaurants in the area, including the highly regarded Restaurant 17, and decided the food at the Lazy Goat was significantly better. We will be going back again the near... More
