Great location downtown. Near Falls Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Eat outside if you can. Outdoor amphitheater is across the river and sometimes there are concerts you can hear for free. Best dish I have had in about 5 visits is the brussel sprouts.

I have been here many times and the food is great - and even better when sharing with others - south Europa influence -awesome!

My husband and I had a recent lunch on a gloomy day at The Lazy Goat in Greenville. We were seated at a window table, which made it feel as if we were sitting right beside the river. The unsettled weather churned the river into an active, ever-changing scene. Lunch was quite good; he had a Cuban sandwich and I... More

We enjoyed our river view table at the Lazy Goat immensely, but not half as much as the wonderful food, wine, cocktails, and service. Honestly, a visit to Greenville won't be complete unless you have a meal here. We started with a few small plates, had another, and then another. . .and called it dinner. Our bill for two with... Yum yum. I had lunch there with my friends yesterday. I had a chicken salad sandwich. Simple right? But don't be deceived. Delicious!! We also had truffle fries. The best I have ever had. We ate them in a second flash! Then the chef sent out a goodie for us - goat cheese cheesecake with blueberries. OMG!! I ordered coffee... More

The Goat is 3 for 3! First visit to Greenville and a friend recommended. Shroom kabob and salmon lunch special were both perfectly prepared.

I ate here solo and sat at the bar, not always my favorite thing to do but the bartender made it very comfortable for me. I love that you can get so many different wines and the various sizes of carafes available. I tasted a few and ended up having a lovely time with a woman one stool down. The... More

Want something different and fun? Just order lots of small plates to share with your table. The service staff is very well trained to describe the dishes and help you order. The kitchen is very speedy and efficient....wine list is also unusual and frequently is discounted as they clear out the hold for new.

My wife and I have taken several visitors to the Lazy Goat for lunch and have enjoyed our lunches. We always sit by a window to enjoy the Peace Center and river views. Our visitors have all told us how much they liked the views and food. We have only had lunches there, so I can't comment on their evening... More
