The best thing about this casual Mediterranean restaurant is its setting at the Falls of the Reedy overlooking the TD Stage amphitheatre right across the river. We like to sit on the outdoor patio with tiled floor surrounded by cascading water. Great people watching spot. Oh, and the food is pretty good too - you can order interesting small portions,... Since our party of four prefers simple comfort foods, the culinary skills of the chefs wasn't totally appreciated. The menu selections are limited but very unique. But we sure loved sitting outside watching all the people. A bit pricey, it probably wasn't the best choice for our group but obviously there are a lot of people that think this is... More

During my three visits to Greenville this summer I had the opportunity to eat hear twice, both times I was impressed. I do have one constructive critique; the calamari served was so hot with chilli I was unable to taste the delicate flavours. The rest of the food however was a welcome change especially the paella which was presented in... More

It is right on the river and was very good. We hit there while there was an outdoor concert taking place across the river - great luck!!

After reading many good recommendations about The Lazy Goat my friend and I had dinner there last night. Atmosphere is great with wonderful open view of the river and tables spaced nicely apart. The staff and food were both average. The hostess was not mean but certainly not friendly. After a wait we has to ask for our ticket. The... More

The Lazy Goat has long been a favorite of ours. It's the top pick for birthdays, anniversaries, and for showing out of towns guests what our little city has to offer. So, here are the you have-to-order items that always end up on our table: the fried goat cheese, Moroccan lamb, and Brussels sprouts. The taleggio cheese is also a... More

Menu was filled with stuff we haven't heard of, the main option is "to share or not". We saw a dish go to the next table and it was huge! So we opted to share curried chicken couscous. It wasn't saucy, but so tasteful! Atmosphere throughout inside and out was fantastic! Mediterranean mostly, and wine by the carafe or half... More

One of our favorite restaurants in Greenville. The food is always incredible, and the first place we think to take out of town guests to eat, or a fun social evening with friends.

We had a nice indoor table overlooking the Labor Day crowds around the river. We started with some delightful pistachio and honey covered goat cheese balls and mussels with chorizo. Both were tasty and large shareable portions. I moved on to the even lazier paella, which was excellent. The white sangria was refreshing. Service didn't earn quite the same marks,... More
