This was our last stop on a culinary walking tour of restaurants in downtown Greenville,SC and we were served a fantastic dessert at the Lazy Goat. It was the finishing touch to a great night out with my daughter who had arranged for the tour as a Father's Day gift for me.

Have dined here twice this year. The restaurant is in a perfect location on the river. With its Tapas style menu you have a great selection of the tastes of Europe heavily influenced with the offerings of Spain. The charcuterie selection of Serrano ham, chorizo, and other cold cuts is exceptional as well as the cheese board. The shared dishes... More

We went here for a church brunch, and everything was perfect! The salmon was our favorite! The service was also fantastic. We will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes.

Wonderful food and service. Nice relaxed restaurant that is not at all pretentious. Seating includes a great view of the river in Downtown Greenville. If you're not accustomed to Mediterranean style dining, I recommend looking over the menu prior to visiting. Pick a few things from the menu and share. We enjoyed the fried goat cheese with pistachios and honey;... More

The best thing about this casual Mediterranean restaurant is its setting at the Falls of the Reedy overlooking the TD Stage amphitheatre right across the river. We like to sit on the outdoor patio with tiled floor surrounded by cascading water. Great people watching spot. Oh, and the food is pretty good too - you can order interesting small portions,... Since our party of four prefers simple comfort foods, the culinary skills of the chefs wasn't totally appreciated. The menu selections are limited but very unique. But we sure loved sitting outside watching all the people. A bit pricey, it probably wasn't the best choice for our group but obviously there are a lot of people that think this is... More

During my three visits to Greenville this summer I had the opportunity to eat hear twice, both times I was impressed. I do have one constructive critique; the calamari served was so hot with chilli I was unable to taste the delicate flavours. The rest of the food however was a welcome change especially the paella which was presented in... More

It is right on the river and was very good. We hit there while there was an outdoor concert taking place across the river - great luck!!

After reading many good recommendations about The Lazy Goat my friend and I had dinner there last night. Atmosphere is great with wonderful open view of the river and tables spaced nicely apart. The staff and food were both average. The hostess was not mean but certainly not friendly. After a wait we has to ask for our ticket. The... More
