The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant with a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East and a relaxed atmosphere where taking the time to "linger and share" is encouraged. The diverse menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat & cheese plates, small plates to “graze and nibble,” and main dishes. Guests are invited to take their time while "trying a little bit of that and a little bit of that" or a "whole lot of whatever they like".

Nice date night

Great ambiance, were able to give us a good reservation the night before and would definitely recommend making one since this place is apparently pretty popular. The decor was nice and they had a lot of candles, rustic type pieces and it was right on the Reedy River with a nice view. The menu is... read more

The Lazy Goat is a wonderful, grown-up place for lunch with a friend or dinner with your significant other. But, for kids, not so much. At least, my daughter wasn't impressed with her meal, and was completely shocked that they didn't offer macaroni and cheese. Taking her along was a last-minute decision when the sitter backed out. Que sera sera!

I haven't been to the Lasy Gost in some time, but we always loved their approach towards food. With a lot of respect and creativity, the team creates wonderful-often middle-Eastern-like dishes.

Wonderful food with lots of flavor. Can get several small dishes (tapas style) or get a meal. One of the few places where you can order a Caipirinha (my favorite drink). I just wish they would stop taking my favorite dishes off the menu (i.e. papa bravas).

Convenient to the Peace Center with great view of the Reedy River. Good food and were very accommodating for our 7 year old granddaughter. Waited had excellent knowledge of the wine cellar.

We has some chicken that was cooked perfect - to die for. We had the goat cheese in honey which was amazing. We were treated wonderfully. We enjoyed the view over the river and put it as a must return in the future.

Great location overlooking the river. Next to the Hampton Inn Downtown. Ate lunch there and had the lamb Burgeusa wrap. The yogurt or quince feta spread seemed to overpower everything else. My wife had the Moroccan Chicken salad wrap. She also said the aioli seemed to overpower everything else too. We also shared an order of truffled pomme frites that... More
