Visited Luna Rosa (on a local's recommendation) after dinner at The Trappe Door. The gelato choices were widely varied and it was truly difficult to choose a favourite. This is authentic Italian gelato and each mouthful was like a trip down memory lane.

So happy these folks are in Greenville! Besides the fantastic gelato selection, try them for lunch for a treat of homemade recipes -- soups, salads, and pasta dishes from grandmom's recipes. Small place, but on a nice day you can dine on the sidewalk. Definitely worth a visit.

A little pricy but worth it. Lower in fat and a nice treat. Ask for a sample them pick your favorite flavor. Made in a cup or a cone. New flavor Carmel by the sea is very rich and tastes like fudge.

Best ceaser I had and excellent gelato! I was a bit annoyed since they ran out of soup of the day! But I guess it tasted excellent so it did. Italian is not my fav food but this restaurant puts it's best food forward. A bit expensive, but you have something to eat for whole family.

We've been to Luna Rosa a couple times and the service has always been excellent. The gelato is the best in Greenville and the prices are extremely reasonable.

We stopped in to the cafe for lunch on a busy Friday afternoon. We were promptly greeted and seated at an appropriate table. Service was above and beyond - they make you feel like family. Tables were full, but we did not wait long for our food. My son had the baked ziti and the rest of our party had... More

I enjoyed an after meal dessert here, and, although the wait was longer than I would have liked, it was worth it! The inside is very modern and clean, which you don't expect from the outside rustic appearance. The attendant allowed me to try as many samples as I liked, and, although there wasn't much seating inside (seems mostly used... More

No need to travel to Italy to find authentic gelato--just visit Luna Rosa for one of the most delicious treats you've ever had. Their selection of delectable flavors tops anything I've ever had, including the samplings I had throughout Italy. The freshly made daily offerings are a feast for the eyes and palate, with flavors ranging from fruity, to the... More
