My wife and I recently went back to Pomegranate on Main to celebrate her Birthday. We were placed at a small two-top right in the main thoroughfare, not an ideal table. Servers and customers were constantly walking by us, so close that some folks were bumping our table and interrupting the meal. I don't know about you, but I don't... More

I love this restaurant. I always get chicken kebabs, but they are really good. And they have the BEST rice, Basmati with cranberries. I could eat just that. Wine is reasonably priced (half price on Wednesdays I think), and the pom martinis are good. The best thing though is the patio, which is open year round thanks to some heaters.

The Pomegranate is a must go to type of restaurant. It is Mid-East food and really good. The Pomegranate Martini is also a must and is real smooth. If you go nowhere else, go to the Pomegranate.

Not a fried item in the house, everything fresh and grilled. Most days you will find the owner and his wife eating there as well and he will be sure to stop at your table to say hi. His wife will normally bring one of her unbelievable home made desserts and if she does, be sure to get a slice.... More

First Persian restaurant I've eaten at. The ambience was nice and the food was great. Decided to go with the tour of Persia for two everything from the appetizer to the tea was delicious. Whenever I'm in Greenville and have a taste for middle eastern cuisine I will be coming back to Pomegranate.

Loved it! The server was delighted to tell us about the menu, and some insight about Persian dining. The kabobs are amazing and the get the hummus appetizer too. Ambience is perfect, make reservations because the inside is smaller but still comfy!

The bar is amazing. all sorts of custom made drinks. Lots of infused vodkas that make some totally delicious cocktails. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable.

Ok, the food may be good but the taste is definitely Persian. I was not used to the taste. It was very pricey as well. The atmosphere is ok. The red pepper humus was very good. If you go, be prepared for some weird tastes.

Loved this restaurant and everything about it! Food, service, ambiance, energy were all over the top! Fun and cozy with excellent cuisine! The starter of shirazi salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, onions with Persian citrus dressing) was only the beginning of a delightful dining experience. My entree dish of chicken kabab in a lemon saffron sauce served with cranberry basmati rice made... More
