Great soup of the day and a salad. Wonderful service and a beautiful dinning room. The greeting was warn and welcoming. I would go back any time I am in Georgetown.

We ate at this restaurant twice during our visit to Georgetown. The first time with friends, the second time on Valentines Day. We had excellent service both times and we enjoyed the ambiance, the food and the decor. Both times we tried to order the pecan pie for dessert and both times they had run out. This was disappointing, but... More

Reservations made, the host had no personality, dinner for two, The service was great, I was told one of the owners was sitting at the bar dinning and the other was outside smoking , appetizer to share was delicious, dinner not so much, fish overcooked, steak undercooked, didn't care for dessert, it was a very quiet evening, so we strolled down to... This once was a very good restaurant that is now attracting only those who might remember what it once was. We were shocked by some of what we were served; wilted lettuce, brown avocado, sandwiches on supermarket rolls were offered up at high prices for lunch. A local shopkeeper told us that the place changed hands and does not recommend... More

Dined here on New Year's Eve. The menu was limited, but the food was delicious. We had the bisque, grouper and lobster Rockefeller; great sauces and presentation, also had the peppermint parfait. The service was very good; we were not rushed; had a nice leisurely dinner.

I used to live in the area and every year around the Holidays when I return I always go back for a Holiday lunch with the family. I enjoyed my tacos but something seemed a little off. Not quite what I was used to. That said still four stars so I would not stay away.

Th was a great coastal restaurant with good food, local seafood, nice wine and great service. The local owners sold to a couple with no restaurant ownership experience but a business plan. Prices went way up, quality went down when the long time chef left as did the wait staff. The locals have abandoned this place fot the Bistro down... More

My husband and i stopped off in Georgetown on our way to Charleston and discovered this amazing restaurant for lunch. Although we showed up close to the end of lunch hours, we were warmly greeted by the owner, Rich, and seated with a lovely view of downtown. The building is a beautiful old downtown jewel that was only surpassed by... More

Last night's dinner at the Rice Paddy was excellent. We had heard that it was worth the hour's drive from Charleston, and now we know that's true. The ingredients were fresh and each plate was prepared to perfection. The new executive chef, Steve, has already made a great restaurant even better.

The crab cake was incredibly disappointing. It used to be so great, but no longer. I could have gotten the BLT at any diner. Chowder was good as was peppermint ice cream. Hope things get better soon or will have to change my lunch choice next time I visit
