I ordered 2 Grilled Shrimp Salads. Expecting the cost to be around $13 each, per sign out front. I paid $38.00 for old wilted lettuce & the shrimp were not grilled. I felt like I was inconveniencing them & certainly not welcome. The lady sitting there staring was very odd & not friendly. Bartender was great. Never Again!

We were visiting a relative and ordered takeout for lunch. The she crab soup was watery and very salty with little crabmeat. We ordered grouper fingers which consisted of 4 small pieces of fish. Seafood gumbo was good. The bill for 1 cup of she crab soup, 2 cups of gumbo, 2 grouper fingers and a small salad with chicken... More

I experienced the cons mentioned. The Shecrab soup was okay and it was lukewarm as mentioned by others. I guess its just the way it comes as I was given it w/i 2 minutes of ordering it. The menu said $6 for the soup, I was asked cup or bowl and I ordered the bowl. It was $10 but no... More

Having never been to Georgetown, I was looking forward to eating some good seafood, and a local recommended The Old Fish House. The hostess was overworked, and her attitude showed it. Our waiter was not much better. The food was definitely not worth the $28 I paid - for lunch. On my next visit to the area, I will definitely... More

This was some of the best fried fish I have ever eaten! I got a fried grouper finger sandwich...delicious! Not greasy, not fishy....excellent!

Old Fish house was once a great place to meet and eat. No more, poor food at high over priced with just average service. Too many other good selections in Georgetown to waste your time here.

Located about half way between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, Georgetown is a sleepy costal town with a wonderful historic district and a great restaurant. The fresh seafood were great. We had a soup that they called gumbo but it is not like the gumbo you get in Louisiana. This gumbo has a tomato base and is out of the world.... More

The setting of this restaurant is lovely. If weather permits, sitting outside would be a great option - right on the water. Service was fine. The food was ok - nothing to write home about.

The nice view and people watching were the best thing about this restaurant. We had seafood and it was only O.K. Next time will go for drinks and appetizers only. Staff was attentive and nice. Décor a little worn and boring. Just an O.K. restaurant.
