A sign in window says "available" for rent. Too bad, as I liked this place. Just hate when good places go out of business!!!
I grew up in garden City and have seen places come and go in our town. When I heard about Nalu's I was really excited for a cool spot. The atmosphere is great, the menu is diverse. I went there a handful of times. For breakfast lunch and after hours upstairs on the awesome bar/bourbon street like balcony. I had... More
Hawaiian/beach decor. Very clean, good food, friendly staff. This is a casual place close to the beach serving breakfast lunch and dinner. There is also a bar upstairs with a balcony overlooking Atlantic Ave. which is a main road coming into the area. They have live entertainment and karaoke some nights. They offer a growing list of craft beers as... More
Only ate here for breakfast, so I can't comment on lunch or dinner so far. Food was pretty good, & reasonably priced. Get the grits instead of the hash browns. They have a good selection & some pretty creative items. I would recommend it as a breakfast option in this little area of shops.
My favorite go to place!!!! Im local, and can't get enough of Nalus! We eat there often... It is always great!!! Sometimes we even take our lab along, and they bring him water while we dine on the patio! Great people, great food, and wonderful atmosphere!
Spent a week at Garden City and found Nalu's. Really great food. Not your regular dining fare. It is definitely above all the hot dog and pizza joints that are around a beach resort area. Breakfast and dinner were the two types of meals we ate here. Unique menu items prepared by fantastic chef. Happy hour prices on your adult... More
I was told about this restaurant by my brother who came in June and said it was the best food he had ever eaten in SC. We decided to eat there on Friday night before Labor Day. We came late. The downstairs was not crowded. Our waitress was pleasant. We ordered the hand cut chips with Gorgonzola cheese-delicious!!!! It was... More
Went here because it was convenient and wanted to get off the beach for a couple of hours and have a few drinks with friends. We sat upstairs in the bar area on the outside porch which was fun to people watch, but the ceiling was so low and the railing so high it felt claustrophobic. It was also filthy--dirty... More
We are a family with three teenage children who have been to this area for many years and after one visit to Nalu's this year it was the only place we all wanted to eat at each day. All of the food was excellent (tip: scallops and she crab soup were awesome), the atmosphere is decorated with a talented local... More
We went with four adults and two small children for dinner. It was a pleasant surprise. We had crab cake sandwich with cole slaw that was fabulous. The rest of the family had quesadilla, Captain Crunch Chicken tenders, the Nalu's burger, a corn dog (it was way too large for a kids portion, and the kids both ordered Mac and... More
