Been here a few times and always have had great hotdogs. Prices aren't to bad for a great dog. Service is always great. Will be coming back for many years to come.

Sam's boasts a 24 hour diner, however in the office season check their hours first. Mid September their sign on the door said open 7am-? but we found them open at close to 10pm. Don't expect anything too fancy. They have good greasy comfort food. Chili dog was awesome. They toasts their buns and deep fry their hotdogs. Double cheese... More

Although its been there for -- well, longer than I've been going to GCB, and that's 30 years. Chili cheese dog is still the best if you like greasy, gooey dogs. Coffee is hot & strong. Friendly staff & customers not in a hurry are generally present along with the Coffee.

We vacation quite a bit in Garden City. Sam's is a very busy place, but cool to visit if you are wanting a quick bite. They deep fry their hot dogs & they are pretty good. Right across the street from the Garden City Pier.

Staying in Garden City, we'd driven by this location every time we ventured in and back out of the area. I had appreciated the slight "gaudiness" of the place figuring it looked like how a diner or dive should of sorts (if that makes sense). They have several food items advertised on the exterior wall and it was one for... More

Mediocre food can taste pretty good when you are hungry at the beach. This was the case. Very mediocre, and clearly they don't have to try hard here, and so they don't. The location is great though. There is no water on tap which is disappointing, so you have to buy a bottle of water instead.

When we stopped in for a late lunch, the place was very busy. Even so, the service was very quick and the employees were friendly. However, our food was just okay. They claimed to be known for their hotdogs, but it seemed very average to us. While we appreciate the convenience of this restaurant's location and the quick and friendly... More

This place is very dirty and unsanitary. Watched the cook handle food with his bare hands. The containers they were keeping food on were dirty and the food looked old. Ordered the pulled pork as I am in the Carolina's. The guy pulls out a huge plastic bucket, scoops or some gray looking slop, puts it in the microwave for... More

This is a good little hot dog place... I was expecting them to be better cause of all the things I have read but its just a good family owned place. We ordered hotdogs fries and onion rings they were all good

Every two years we make the trek to Myrtle and every time have to go to Sam's for Coney's. This is truly one of the old time Coney places in the country. I always stick with the classic footlong with everything. Why mess with a classic. Then off to the arcade next door.
