Voted “best restaurant with a view” and “most romantic” by The Sun News; Gulfstream Cafe is the only restaurant on the Strand overlooking the ocean on one side and Murrells Inlet on the other. Watch the sun set from the upstairs bar or deck and savor the creamy She-Crab soup, jumbo lump Crab Cakes, daily catch or Southern favorites- such as fried Lobster Tail. Fabulous!

Myself and one of my best friends stayed in Garden City and decided to venture out to grab a bite to eat. We saw this place and pulled in.....parking is a little tight, but we managed to park my big ole Tahoe with no problem. We were so disappointed tonight when we planned a Girls Oyster Dinner out tonight. We were told that the only place they would serve the AYCE Oysters was outside on the open deck!!! Plus they only serve them 6-8 pm! It was windy, chilly and drizzling outside - not the kind of weather to be sitting on an open deck.... More

Hi Chris, I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to enjoy our Oyster Roast. They are a bi-annual event that are very lively, weather permitting, on the sundeck from 6-8pm. No changes from the past years. Hope you and your friends will join us soon! More

Loved the Sunday brunch. Gave me a chance to try some seafood dishes without have to get a large portion. Fabulous service and food! Everyone should definitely dine here. So glad we tried this family-oriented cafe.....nautical decorations and right on the marshland....wonderful views. Will dine here again!!

We found another favorite restaurant to go to whenever in the Myrtle Beach area! Someone had told us about it, while lounging on the beach one day. We went for their Early Bird Special, and were not disappointed at all! Portion sizes and prices were right on. So many places, you pay so much money and can't eat half of... More

I'm not a huge seafood fan, but this menu didn't disappoint me. I had the chicken parmesan, which was excellent. The atmosphere at Gulfstream is lovely and relaxing. I imagine it is packed out during the summer and not as relaxing, but the view is beautiful overlooking the marsh area. Pretty good value for the food.

I took my wife here for our wedding anniversary because I felt it was a great restaraunt with awesome views of the sunset as advertised. The views did not disappoint. They were very good. The food and service was only fair. The menu was very limited and had crab legs and steak. Good but not great by no means yet,... More

We spent most of February in the Myrtle Beach area and ate out 3-4 times a week. This was undoubtedly one of our best experiences. Although the weather that evening was less than ideal, we enjoyed the view looking across Murrell's Inlet. The rustic ambience was very nice and the meals were top notch as was the service. This is... More

The Sunday Brunch buffet was FABULOUS, fully stocked, and the Bloddy Mary bar was the best I have had in a very long while! Service was perfect and the view was great. Can not imagine a better restaurant in the area. Will definately be visiting again!

Introduced my wife to this place in January, had been here many times for the last two years by myself. She fell in love with the Restaurant instantly! Location, service, food, and view are the best there is! We eat there a lot for early fare, Sunday brunch "FANTASTIC" , and late evening. Never been disappointed. Love to sit upstairs... More
