great view, service was pretty good. food was subpar at best. the broiled lobster was overcooked almost burnt on edges. crab cakes where also on the overdone side, tuna was cooked very good. not what I was expecting from this high of rated place.

We have eaten here a number of times and always opt for the early evening menu (early bird). No reservations and you can expect to wait even at 4:30 (not long) but it is a very popular place with visitors and locals. They have a good early bird menu with fish, beef and pasta dishes. The main dining is on... More

The Gulfstream Cafe is over priced for very little food average. The last time I was there I ordered a shrimp dinner and received only four shrimp on my entree. I have tried this place for three years now hoping it would improve but it never does.

We work hard to make our restaurant unique and provide great, fresh food at affordable prices. As for our southern fried seafood platter, their are 12 large shrimp per order, 4 on the mixed seafood platter. I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your experience. More

Service was perfect along with our meal. Kids food was brought out first, the waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. The view was amazing and I will return. I recommend reservations during summer months.

Fried shrimp, creamed spinach was excellent, serving oversized, I was stuffed. Waiter was fantastic, polite, helpful to our grandson, offered to bring his food out first, while we ate our quickly delivered appetizers. Checked back with us enough to be helpful but not overbearing. Atmosphere is good nice location.

This is a great place to go while on vacation in Garden City, Surfside and Myrtle Beach. The food is really good and the prices for the Early Bird Dinner Specials are the best...even includes a drink. We always visit Gulfstream while on vacation in the area.

My wife and I had been to the GulfStream Café several times before. That's why we thought it the perfect place to take our neighbor to say thanks for helping us out. The table we got inside was great. A perfect view of the setting sun over the marsh set the stage for a great night. The appetizers including the... More

I have been going to the restaurant for 15 years, but after last week I will never go again. I had a waiter, middle aged, with a black vest tell me..GOOD RIDDANCE! I have never had anyone be so rude to me. The hostess was very nice and things were going smoothly until he interfered. I would love to send... More

Very disappointed in the staff at our recent visit. We eat at this restaurant every year and have always loved it. This year the staff was very rude and refused to sit us inside because we had children in our party. One waiter was so rude to my mom we were shocked. We will not be returning!
