This is a clean and friendly diner. They have very good breakfast with generous portions. The lunch and dinner are good but not extraordinary. They are your average southern diner. I've had better and I've had worse! They are not something I would go out of the way for, but on the other hand I... read more

This is a local place on the growing 521. However, even a local place should know that an egg and cheese omelet should be fluffy, not flat, and without a clump of cheese stuck in the middle on one side. Second time here and no change in the quality of cooking. The toast and grits were very good. But the... More

This was our first time here since they relocated from just down the road. The new location is a somewhat cleaner and overall more inviting (but not much). We went for Fther's Day breakfast. We got seated promptly and the server cam quickly to take our order for coffee. Coffee and water came quickly and we ordered. The food cam... More

From grits to okra to mac and cheese. They are a small establishment that is well known. Breakfast is mobbed on Sundays so we go for lunch. Their flounder special is fried to perfection. The meatloaf is good but to heavy on the ketchup for my liking. They have a ton of side dishes that you won't get any where... More

It is hard to poorly cut eggs. Eggs are suppose to be light and fluffy anot flat and hard. But that was how they we serves. No one really seem to care. Glad when some competition move into the area. I should have known better because the parking lot was empty during breakfast hours. I think the locals like it.... More

Super loud and crowded and no ambience--like a school cafeteria. Food is not predictable in quantity. Two people can order the same omelet plate and get two different looking orders. Service is average. People go there (I guess) because they offer a low price breakfast. Over a period of 5 years, we have had breakfast there 4 times and lunch... More

We came here for a very late lunch. My brother and his wife have been here many times and really like it. I ordered one of the specials, flounder. My sister-in-law ordered another, the chicken and dumplings which she enjoyed. We both ordered the fried squash. She also ordered the pinto beans which she didn't enjoy. My second side was... More

I ate breakfast here with a friend recently and was not impressed. I live in Indian Land but have only dined here 3 times. Every time has been very "vanilla". Nothing special. I had hoped their new location would improve tthe food, I was wrong. The service and location are good.

sometimes the best description is simply "yummy" they do diner food, and do it well. The breakfast is what you go for, the staff is why you keep coming back!! The meat+2 at lunch is good too!!

Always amazing staff! Food is great and much easier then breaking out the fry pans at home. We go here a few times a month for a quick and easy breakfast.
