In the mood for shrimp, but didn't want to fight Charlotte traffic, so I checked out what was available in Fort Mill, SC. This place must be THE place! They even had a church bus arriving to pick up folks! Fortunately, we arrived late (8:00 pm) and only had 3 people, so we were seated immediately. The hushpupppies and honey... More

Great taste, large portions, great service. This is true bang for your buck. For true down home fish dinners, this is a must.Skip chain restaurants come here. You will enjoy the fish tank, the customers, the building decor, yhe service and of course the fish. Did I mention the fish. Also dont forget the basketfull of hush puppies that go... More

We had 3 adults 1 teenager and 3 kids with us. The waitress brought plenty of hush puppies to begin dinner. The menu and front board offered many options. The seafood tasted great! The portions are large! Next time I will split an order of snow crab legs with someone else! I will look them up again when I go... More

If you enjoy fish and related items this is a must experience place. Food is great servings are huge and service is wonderful. If you are familiar with the old style fish camps in the south, this is a modern version taken to new levels of enjoyable good experience.

Unlike another reviewer I have had fried, broiled, and baked seafood at Capt Steve's. It is plainly stated on the menu. I have eaten seafood all over this country and always thought that fresh Gulf of Mexico was the best. Well this place does it equally well or maybe better. Never had a bad meal there and have been many... More

Everything is fried so if that is what your into this is the place. There are very little options if you don't want fried food. Service was fast. It was very loud.

If you want a good fried fish platter you can't beat this place. Don't let the long lines at the door scare you, they move very fast! Also if you are planning to eat as a group...all the group needs to be present before you are seated. Also don't plant to have an intimate conversation... it gets quite loud in... More

This place was recommended by the hotel we were staying at. It was busy and noisey, but the food and service was good and the portions were huge for the moderate price. So overall it was good. But not quite our style. My wife and I were by ourselves and traveled 7 hrs, so a nice quiet place with better... More

I have seen a number of reviews rating this restaurant as excellent. I don't get it. Service is good but food is mediocre. Restaurant is very noisy and extremely busy. Long line to get in. This place is a gold mine for the owner. I guess the big attraction is that the portions are enormous and relatively inexpensive. I went... More
