Went in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Beautiful location right on Folly Pier. The fried oysters were exceptional (the best we have had in the area). The service was extraordinary, Michelle is awesome!

My husband and I went here for dinner because we read good reviews on trip advisor. The restaurant looks like a dump inside and hands out haphazardly laminated menus. The food is over priced. You wouldn't expect a $28 steak to come out of kitchen in a place that looks like this. We ordered an appetizer and went somewhere else... More

Food was great. Service was great with friendly waiter. Nice setting right on pier and water. They also had a full bar.

Great escape for she crab soup and a shrimp sandwich. I loved their fried flounder sandwich as the batter is not too heavy it is light and the fish is tender. They just have so many offerings that it was hard to choose. Then a nice walk on the pier or the beach it is a great afternoon.

During our 3 day stay on Folly Beach, Locklears was probably our favorite food stop. Situated right at the pier next door to the Tides it was a convenient walk for us. Ample seating was presented inside or outside with the ocean as a backdrop for either. We chose seafood options during our 2 visits with the crab soup being... More

If you love the beach, you will love this beach restaurant. Relaxing, and right at the end of the fishing pier gives you lots to look at while you relax on the beach. The service was friendly, fast and good. Food choices were good and just nothing negative to add. I did go off season, so it was nice and... More

On a recent trip to Folly Beach, my friends and I dined at Locklears and agreed it was very good. One of us enjoyed a fried seafood platter and thought it was very good. She was impressed with the selection and especially liked the cole slaw. Another diner and I shared an eggplant dish which was delicious. We agreed that... More

The location is great, its right at the pier entrance with a nice view of the water from some seating. Outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Food is always good and staff is friendly. We make it a point to have dinner here at least once on every trip to Folly.

Recently went to Folly from Isle of Palms to check it out and much to our surprise, we walked into Locklears on the end of the pier. We were disappointed when we found out that the Locklears in Mt Pleasant had closed and were excited when we found them at Folly. The food is wonderful. We had an appetizer of... More

I would drive 5 hours for the Shrimp and Grits. My wife says other things are excellent too but why mess with perfection?
