Never disappointed

I have been here a few times on trips to folly & have never been disappointed. Their pasta dishes are delicious and the wait staff is very friendly. I would recommend to sit outside just to enjoy the breeze and the better view.

Passed by this restaurant several times taking walks on the pier... then finally stopped for Sunday brunch. Delicious... had fried calamari and an eggs benedict with fried green tomatoes... very good. Breakfast came with grits with cheese... I'm from Ohio originally, we didn't do that with grits... OMG, if I had known I would have made these years ago! The... More

Decided to go to Folley Beach for sightseeing so we looked online for somewhere to eat there. We chose Locklears and was not the least bit disappointed. The food was served quickly and was very good. Had pasta dishes with scallops and shrimp. Our server was very nice and attentive to our needs. The view was beautiful from the windows... More

Locklears is a must stop location for lunch or dinner when you are on Folly Beach, SC! I have been here many times and come back for a couple reasons. First, the food and drink selections are amazing and represent the low country/Charleston tastes very well with their large variety of options. Second, the staff is the best on the... More

After a disappointing low country boil elsewhere the night before, I went for the fried seafood trio of shrimp, oysters and flounder at Locklears' Beach City Grille. It was outstanding! And while the food was good, the restaurant sits on the City Pier overlooking the water, so the view is wonderful, too.

Love the atmosphere on the Folly Beach Pier, relaxed and cozy & you can sit outside if you want! The view of the Beach and Pier is wonderful! The Fried Flounder is the best, as is the Fried Fish Platter! I loved the fried okra, so tasty! I always treat my family & friends to this experience when we go... More

So enjoyed the visit and the view. Best off season, as this area ..Folly Beach is very busy and very crowded especially in season. Locklears surprising served good food for being on the Beach. Most beach places cut back, as the view is all that is about the place. Had a flounder sandwich and it was delicious and actually came... More

I am a repeat customer and always enjoy were the locals eat. The view is great and outside sitting is available. Lunch is a money saver. Friendly servers and manager. They fixed a vegetarian inlet for me at lunch. My wife had the shrimp and grits with corn fritters and green beans. It was great also will return again. There... More

The waitress was very friendly and brought us a complimentary tray of crackers and fresh crab dip, it was very good. The prices weren't bad at all, and the service was very attentive to us and our two small children. We each ordered the flounder sandwich and received a huge amount of food. Kids meals were generous too. We will... More

The food was about average, but you should go when you can sit outside and watch the water and passersby. That is the only draw we could see. Unfortunately we sat inside, where it was extremely noisy despite being nearly empty. The acoustics are terrible, plus the radio was turned up loud and a bunch of off shift employees were... More
