If you're looking for a great breakfast in a funky little restaurant then the Lost Dog Cafe is for you. Nestled off the beaten path on Folly Beach this little gem serves up fantastic food at a reasonable price. The wait staff is very attentive, and the food is out in a hurry. The Dog is frequented by locals and... More

I really loved the eggs Benedict. Had fried green tomatoes in it. And loved all the dog photos all over the walls. Was packed but we still got seated pretty quickly and service was really good. Checked on us often and with a smile and kind voice. I don't know if they accept reservations or delivery as we didn't ask.

Being a southerner I have had my share of biscuits and gravy. This is hands down the best biscuit and gravy I have ever had. You can get it as a meal (which would be all you need) or as a side for any of their entrees. The Lost Dog cafe is definitely the place to go for breakfast. Try... More

We ate breakfast here every morning during our recent stay on Folly Beach. The groups waiting to be seated despite the wait times say it all... there's no place better! We were fortunate to get seats at the counter and never had a wait time of more than 10 minutes. The banana bread French toast (when available) is delicious and... More

I really liked it here. I had the bacon cheeseburger and potatoes which was delicious. The outside appearance of the place was cute. The atmosphere of the place inside is nice especially if you like looking at adorable pictures of dogs while you eat. The walls were littered (pun intended) with pooches galore. It made for great conversation starters or... More

A family and dog friendly restaurant with great food. Be prepared to wait for a table but it will be worth it! We went on a Tuesday. We had to wait about 25 min since there was 9 of us. Breakfast was wonderful. I had banana bread French toast. Fantastic! Tuesday also had $3 mimosas. Of course we had some!... More

Wonderful, fresh, creative menu! Open early for breakfast and lunch! You can even bring your dog and eat outside on the patio! The decor is hundreds of framed doggie photos. In the many years I have been visiting Folly, I have never had a bad meal or experience at The Lost Dog!!!

Have eaten here 15 plus times. Always great service, friendly staff and the food is superb. Always take my Scottie as pets are allowed on the outside patio dining area.

A cute little eclectic cafe, neat atmosphere with the dog pics everywhere. I love dogs. Food was very good, I had a cilantro encrusted Mahi atop a salad--very fresh, excellent flavor. Didn't give it an overall 5 cos it didn't quite "wow" me--but very good. I'd come here again and def recommend it.
