Best fresh fish, casual outdoor dining, live music, dog friendly

Dined here twice recently. Service was prompt & friendly. Food choices are standard coastal offerings: fish (broiled/ fried), burgers, shrimp & grits. The weather was good so we brought our dog and sat on the deck.I had broiled flounder, filleted fresh in the kitchen, my spouse had the shrimp... read more

Loggerheads is a fun place to eat. Had shrimp and grits, an Amazing Burger, wonderful salads and the Very Manhattan Best Clam. The only one better was made by my dearest friend Janice! As a casual place for dinner or lunch I would highly recommend them. Plus the owner is from NJ and loves the Phila Eagles.

Our service was quick but dinner was not anything to write home about. The best description is average bar food. The night life was okay but not near the excitement of other options.

Stopped in here at the advice from a staff member at The Tides Hotel. (I think I mistakenly referred to this place as Longhammers in an earlier review of Folly Beach--sorry about that Loggerheads!). This was our favorite bar of the five or so we sampled on a cold January night. What we saw were folks who looked like us... More

We stumbled across Loggerhead's during the off season and were able to meet some friendly locals and listen to some great, live music! We will definitely be back!

Chicken wrap had nice appearance but chicken was on on the way to being thrown out when it landed on my plate. Service efficient, not pleasant.

Had some platter that had a selection of fried seafood. You couldn't tell what was a scallop and what was an oyster. Fish was fried, overly breaded and square. It's the beach and your serving us food quality seafood? Shrimp and grits were VERY GOOD

We (4 adults, 1 toddler) had our last dinner on Folly at Loggerheads. It was just perfect. Good variety of local seafood, plus many SC craft beers. It looked like it would be great for catching a game on TV on our next trip.

Had several meals here, and also stopped by for just drinks. Also been to one of their oyster roasts, which when combined with their BBQ, was unbelievable, endless food. There is frequently live music too, and it's dog friendly - what more could you ask for?

Great local hang out. Great pub food along with a large selection of draft beers. You felt like you were one of the locals.
