Cuisines: Pizza, International, Noodle, Sandwiches
Description: We serve eclectic sandwiches and Neapolitan style pizza. We take a lot of time and pride in roasting our own meats, making the rubs/marinades, mustard and all sauces. During winter/ spring, we offer Specialty Grilled Cheeses and a Noodle Dish in addition to the menu. In the summer months, we will have cold Noodle salads/ Asian Salads. We make our own Hibiscus Ginger Punch and offer a wide selection of Natural Sodas (Virgils, Reed's,Maine Root and Fizzy Lizzy). We have a small selection of beer, but you may bring wine. We are a small place with huge taste...nothing else quite like it.

This place gets great reviews, and the menu is interesting. Perhaps we should have ordered the sandwiches or vietnamese specials. The pizza sounds good... and they seem to have the preparation and cooking down (perfectly cooked, thin, neapolitan crust), but almost totally lacking in flavor. The crust has no flavor, the tomato sauce is bland, the white sauce on the... More

We did this our first night in town and loved it. A group of foodies too tired to cook, we found this place and loved it. Hue owners actually were behind the counter cooking and clearly take pride.

We love this place! I had the pork belly and my hubby had the kimchee pork. The special was the white pizza and we ordered that to take home - except that we ate it while we were there. Absolutely unbelievable - it is like having a food network star cook for you. We also love the set up, order... More

The pizza was okay, but very expensive for the size you get. Definitely go to Woody's over Wich Doctor!

Sorry you fell that way about our pricing, but just for giggles lets do a comparison. We offer a 12" 3- topping pizza for $13 (tax not included) while our competitor offers a 14" pie with 3-toppings for $17.80 (again, tax not included). A rule of thumb for quality pizza joints is a dollar an inch for three topping pies,... More

My daughter is a pescatarian, so we were seeking something that offered seafood or vegetarian offerings. I was intrigued by The 'Wich Doctor's reputation as a good hole in the wall. We ordered at the counter and sat outside. My daughter had a spicy shrimp stir-fry on a Hogie bun that was delicious, and I had the margherita pizza which... More

I'm not sure what we expected but what we got, wasn't it. The building is a dark room with a counter to order, a cooler to choose your drink, a collection of historic photos of Folly and several tables with creaky, mismatched wood chairs. A look at the menu reveals asian-fused sandwiches and unique pizzas. I had intended to order... More

For the most part, all of the restaurants on Folly are good/great, but they are mostly tourist traps too. I live here, and work on Folly. My co-worker and I order from Wich doctor all the time, and are never disappointed. Step off the beaten path for a moment and try at least one pizza and special from the Wich... More

Loved lunch at the wich doctor. Great little patio...nothing fancy but the food was delicious! Had the brisket sandwich and we split a pizza as well. Great pleasant couple who runs the joint. Beer was cold and self service cooler. Great reggae tunes and shady patio. But the food was out of this world! Definitely recommend if you're looking for... More

a tiny place where the flavors are incredible. We had the b sprout pizza (don't worry , these are sliced very tiny) and a sausage one. The sausage was pretty yummy too, spicy. Watch out for loose boards on the porch though :)

We ordered pizza's from the 'Wich Doctor. It had so much potential to be delicious (b/c of delicious/creative pizza ingredients) but it was way undercooked and greasy!!! If you take a chance and order i would ask for pizza well done.
