We had eaten here two years ago and this wasn't even close to the same place. Service was wonderful, food sucked. My kids didn't even want to eat the buns on the sandwiches. Nachos were tasteless except old onions and spicy cheese sauce. Fried green tomatoes were flavorless. First impression was a swarm of fruit flies on our table. Service... More

The streetside menu is a bait and switch. Once inside, you get a very limited menu, heavily weighted to burgers and BBQ. No local beers or seafood. Even their decor belies their beers - huge Newcastle Brown mirror over the bar...but good luck ordering the Old Brown Dog. We tried to honor the seafood theme, but the shrimp and grits... More

We were in Folly Beach for 4 nights and went to lunch and dinner at a different location each day and Folly Beach Shrimp Company had the the best food out of all of them! Seriously! And I'm pretty picky. I had the peel and eat shrimp and She Crab Soup, both were great!! My husband had the alfredo and... More

First, this review is real. This is our first day in Folly Beach. Eating fresh seafood was our only agenda. We happened to come across this restaurant and decided to eat here for dinner. .. mainly because the BBQ sandwich was not priced at $12 like the place across the street. We were immediately seated for a table of 5... More

Service was slow. Food was mediocre at best. We ordered the bacon crusted scallops as an appetizer. The scallops were overcooked and served with some kind of cold butter that can only be described as spreadable country crock. We ordered the seafood platters as entrees. Those weren't too bad but we ordered mac and cheese as a side item. Mac... More

Bad food. Complained to management to to avail. Manager Adam seemed to care less that we spent over 150 dollars on dinner. Wanted to comp us a dessert but could not get out fast enough. Plus the trash dumpster is right behind the outdoor seeting. Go elsewhere on folly beach,Rita s is decent and so is the lost dog, snappers jack... More

My husband and I ordered the BBQ pulled pork nachos. We asked the waitress how big they were since we were planning to share. They were terrific but my husband was still hungry after we ate them. So, we ordered another round of them. When they came out, they were at least twice as big as the first order with... More

We stopped in just to have appetizers. The place was nearly empty at the time, but it took nearly 45 minutes to get three appetizers and a salad. They weren't all that complicated. Peel and eat shrimp, nachos, and crab dip. Okay the shrimp was good, but the chips were stale and where was the crab in the dip?????? All... More

We had dinner at the Folly Beach Shrimp Company while visiting Folly Beach. We originally were trying to eat at the Taco joint a few doors down, but there was a wait. The FBSC was pretty much empty, so we decided to have dinner there. The atmosphere was nice and the typical for the area. Our party of 12 were... More

Friendly and service was good so was the food. Nice bar to sit down and enjoy without a lot of noise.
