Rita's was suggested by the staff at tides, and it didn't disappoint. The food was great and there was a good beer selection also. Wish I lived nearby.
We has the rib eye eggs benedict. The price has gone up but the quality of the meat was even better since the new owners took over. The new owners own Hall's Chophouse in downtown Charleston and they know their steaks. Apparently, the hamburgers are even better than before. The server was very nice. We heard they are closing down... More
Took 16 people to Rita's for lunch...beautiful day on the patio, food very good and excellent service. We had 10 college students with us, and the varied menu made everyone happy, so did the great beers on tap.
We picked the place because it was right across the street from the TIDES and we were tired. We were very happy with the quality of the food. I had the shrimp and it was fresh. It was a nice relaxing meal and the wait staff was above great.
Our food took well over 30 minutes to arrive but it was worth the wait. We loved the location (across the street from the beach). The staff seemed to know all the locals by name. Everyone at our table enjoyed their dinners.
The portions were huge and the price was very reasonable. Dishes included sandwiches as well as shrimp and grits and other entrées.
The food was quite good and worth what we paid. We sat outside and enjoyed the sound of the ocean when traffic quieted a bit. Overall, happy wth out experience - the first time better than the second.
The first day of our trip we went to Rita's and got the Shrimp & Grits- wow! I have had some good ones before but these were the best! Also had a great Bloody Mary. Their Sunday brunch was great as they do a Bloody Mary bar. I got the Shrimp & grits again and my boyfriend got the Barbeque... More
We decided to try Ritas because of the great hamburger aromas coming from the restaurant. Ordered salsa and guacamole as an appraiser. I've had better from a jar. Too much onion. My wife ordered shrimp and grits which she enjoyed. I went with the Bison burger special. The meat had no favor. It needed some seasoning. Smoke from outdoor patio... More
We had lunch at Rita's during a recent vacation to Folly Beach. It was a beautiful day so we ate in the patio area to enjoy the weather. Very friendly staff greeted and seated us quickly. I had been told by a friend how great the burgers were and she didn't steer us wrong. My boyfriend had the Bistro burger... More
