We were looking for something more than fast food for lunch to break up our travels along I-95. Thought about Cracker Barrel, but it was a summer time Sunday, just in time for church to let out. We read the reviews for the Thunderbird Buffet and decided to give it a try. Definitely nothing to look at. However the wait... More

I went there on the recommendation of a co worker on the way back from a business trip. I am so glad that I listened to this one. The food was so good it felt like I was at home eating my mom's cooking. The price for the buffet was definitely reasonable & worth it. I will make sure I... More

We stopped here for lunch on Sunday, March 16, 2014 on our trip home. We had heard about it but never tried it. The food was great. They had a very large variety of salads, meats, vegetables, breads and desserts. It was all inclusive including beverage for $9.99. It was a great bargain and great food. The place was full... More

It wasn't terrible, but it's DEFINITELY lacking flavor.I'm not sure whose home cooking they've been eating, but it definitely wasn't anything I'm used to. Also, the only drinks available to us was lemonade, coffee, water or tea.

Eating at Thunderbird Country Buffet is like eatin' Grandma's country cookin'. Lots of selections of meats, vegetables, breads, and delicious desserts (Can't skip the peach cobbler/pie). My wife has been eating there for over 30 years without a disappointment whatsoever and can't miss eating there anytime we are in the area. Not much to look at but don't let that... More

A nice buffet at a reasonable price. The downfall is the appearance of the property. It needs a lot of work. The food is hot, tasty and replenished regularly.

Two words--great food. And there are 4 or 5 meat choices salads country veggies and dessert. The peach cobbler has a crunchy crust and yummy insides. Going back this morning for the breakfast bar.

Great buffet! Food was hot, nice variety and the price was outstanding. Not much in the area of atmosphere but if you want great food at a great price this is your place.
