The owner is awesome and the location is ideal in downtown. I had the pleasure of brunch on a weekend. Every single course was AMAZING.

This by far my very favorite place in Florence. It is in the historic area of the downtown and has great charm. While good food is always an important part of "eating out", there is so much more than food when you go to Top Hat. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing time. The tea selection is great. No... This is a very quaint, small restaurant. The menu is limited but a nice, quiet place to have a relaxing lunch with friends. The quiche is outstanding! A friend ordered the peach ice tea and loved it. Plan to go back often.

My friend and I enjoyed a deliciously unique lunch that was quite satisfying. Service was great, prices affordable, and the atmosphere is absolutely charming! I have been here many times and I am always warmed by Loris sweet southern hospitality ! Oh the scones are a must have!!

Wonderful food and wonderful service. A gem of a restaurant with lots of personality. Fresh, crisp salad; peach ice tea; delicious special of the day; & buttermilk pie --- good cooking at its finest.

We took our granddaughter for a tea party while she was here for a visit. It was wonderful and the people serving were WONDERFUL. The food was very good although our granddaughter loved the sweets the most. She wasn't into cucumber, chicken salad or pimento cheese sandwiches, but the scones, lemon poppy seed loaf & egg nog pound cake were... More

My daughter and I went here for a birthday celebration and had the traditional tea with multiple courses. The ambiance is very tea party! We arrived right after they opened and had the place to ourselves. It quickly filled up but we felt as though we were still received personal attention. Their strawberry tea was divine and my daughter keeps... More

You have to try the scones. Lunch was good. Egg salad was the best of the trio of salads & the crossant made it even better. Had real cream with the tea. Devonshire cream & strawberry preserves for the scone. Outstanding!
