Love this place!

Everything about Top Hat is awesome - the food (esp egg salad on a croissant and buttermilk pie!), tea, atmosphere, and staff. Can't wait until our next visit!

It's hard to find a unique tearoom in the South. My husband is British and loves their extensive hot tea menu. We always have afternoon tea when we visit. Afternoon tea seems a bit expensive, but it's worth the price. You get a large variety of food with the tea. At Christmas, the scones were shaped like Christmas tree. It's... More

They are famous for their mint tea and strawberry tea. Their lunch is homemade. My favorite is the shrimp salad in the tomatoe. Their buttermilk pie is sinfully delicious and a treat for a birthday. The owner is bubbly and delightful making the lunch extra special.

My husband and I stopped here on our way through Florence. We travel through Florence often from Columbia and are always looking for a good lunch spot. We were a little hesitant at first because my husband thought he might be the only man in a Tea Room. To my delight, there were other men having lunch so he felt... More

I love their strawberry iced tea, quiches and scones with lemon curd. It is out of this world. Do stop by here for a wonderful lunch.

The owner is awesome and the location is ideal in downtown. I had the pleasure of brunch on a weekend. Every single course was AMAZING.

This by far my very favorite place in Florence. It is in the historic area of the downtown and has great charm. While good food is always an important part of "eating out", there is so much more than food when you go to Top Hat. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing time. The tea selection is great. No... This is a very quaint, small restaurant. The menu is limited but a nice, quiet place to have a relaxing lunch with friends. The quiche is outstanding! A friend ordered the peach ice tea and loved it. Plan to go back often.
