I had lunch at Victor's and was shocked at the smell coming from the cloth napkins and water. Both the water and napkin smelled sour and like the sewer system. The chicken salad was disgustingly bland. They need to stop worrying about the fancy napkins, tablecloths and plate settings and hire some REAL cooks. The staff seemed rush even though... More

My wife and I were looking for a nice place to celebrate our 37th anniversary in Florence and based on recommendations in trip advisor we selected Victor's. Situated in the recently renovated Florence Hotel, Victor's is a culinary delight. The chef offers a nice selection of his own creations as well as "chop house" dining (select your meat, toppings and... More

On a car trip from NY to Florida we stopped in Florence SC overnight. We looked for a special restaurant to celebrate a Birthday and found Victors. What a surprise...delicious food, lovely decor and excellent service thanks to Chris and Josh. We will definitely be back!

We stopped in Florence on the way to Florida and had booked a room at the Hotel Florence. This was our first visit to Florence. The hotel was very nice and the staff very attentive. The plan was to leave early the next morning so we asked if the hotel had a restaurant. We were told they did and we... More

found this place online while just passing through town on a long drive. It seemed to be one of the only decent places for breakfast in a town full of Waffle Houses, Cracker Barrels, etc. The place was nearly empty on a Monday morning, but the food was great and the prices are very reasonable. Our server Kenny was super... More

My partner's birthday was Jan 8 but we chose Jan 10 to celebrate it due to our work schedule conflict. We chose Victor's because firstly, we haven't been there. secondly, we heard nothing but great reviews and thirdly, it is suppose to be a "fine dining" restaurant in Florence. It was a last minute decision that we regretted. We were... More

My daughter and I recently took a break from the monotony of I-95 and drive the few miles into downtown Florence South Carolina. Lunch was at Victor's, now located within the lobby of the old (and excellently remodeled Hotel Florence). This was fine "casual" dining with excellent service and prices. I can heartily recommend the "she-crab" soup and the salads.

Overall the experience did not live up to my expectations, which were high. We were seated without reservations on an early Friday evening, which was good. We had a team of two servers. There was a piano player. The wine selection was good. The beer selection was limited. The rolls were tasty. The flounder and shrimp off the regular menu... More

My wife and I had dinner at Victor's on January 1, 2015. We arrived and were greeted by the hostess who advised us that a table would be ready in ten minutes, so we went to the bar. (We did notice a number of empty tables, which was a hint of things to come.) We waited and waited; nothing. Finally,... More
