We were here two years ago and wanted to return. We missed breakfast so went for lunch. It was a busy place and almost all tables were full. Our food was good. I had the house salad which was HUGE! My husband had the shrimp platter with beer battered fried. Prices were good for the island. The servers were not... More

Are you kidding me? I‘ve been to 5 restaurants in this tiny town and had 5 of the best fish meals I‘ve ever had. This is regrettably the last before I leave, and one of the best. Looking for a light bite after a day of packing, we went into what appeared to be a little diner. I ordered a... More

We've been going to Edisto for years now and we've NEVER left the island without eating breakfast at the Sea Cow at least once. The place is always busy so get there early or wait until the rush subsides. Unless you're one of the first one's there, you'll most likely have to wait. It's worth it. That's why there's a... More

Place was packed but hostess and wait staff were friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast for all seven of us and sizable portions too. I always enjoy the Sea Cow.

We visited here to eat as we know the new owner. He had been head chef at one of our favorite restaurants. The menu is simple for lunch although he does do one special per lunch and one for dinner. His red pepper bisque was loaded with crab and quite tasty. The fried fish, shrimp and oysters were quite good... More

Every meal was excellent. The shrimp and Grits were awesome. The service was quick and friendly. Gail was my personal favorite.

Great breakfast on edisto beach. Had an omelette with everything. Place is kind of a hole in the wall with not much ambiance, but the food makes up for it. A definite "go to" if your in the area

We visited the Sea Cow recently for dinner. My husband had grilled tilapia with field peas and collard greens and I had a Cobb salad with the house dressing, a mustard-tarragon vinaigrette. Both meals were great. My salad was so good I couldn't stop eating it until I had cleaned my plate. Afterwards we had a slice of coconut cream... More

We had breakfast here one morning while staying on the Island and it was very tasty. My wife and her sister had eggs and grits and I had their moo mania and all meals were excellent. Topped this off with excellent service and it was a great start to our day! We would definitely return.
