I came here with my two teenage daughters who I had subjected to an morning of geocaching. By the time we had got to lunch, it was 1330, and we had walked 6 miles. They were grumpy. That's not a good way to start out a visit... The location is right off the main drag. Its definitely within walking of... More

Toured the nearby Botony Bay Plantation & Wildlife Management area and craved a light lunch. Have wanted to try McConkey's on other visits to Edisto Island but diverted to more lavish dining facilities.....my loss. FISH TACOS ( two per order) a small basket of lightly battered onion rings and a Pluff Mudd porter was delivered rapidly after the order was... More

This place definitely feels like a little beach shack. The pimento cheese and ham sandwich was delicious- my kids enjoyed the usual kids' meal items- cheeseburger, grilled cheese and chicken tenders.

I ordered a seafood platter to take home with me. It was lightly batter fried deliciousness! I am stll recovering, however, from the sticker shock, after fees and additional charges I paid $21!!!???!!! For one plate.

After spending the day on the island we decided to have a quick dinner before heading back to Charleston. This place was perfect....except that it was a little cold with just screening for walls and we were suffering through this cold spell! But the food soon made us forget the cold and we could't help but focus on the delicious... More

Great food and service. The fish sandwich with beer batter is super and an excellent buy at $6.95. The small Greek salad was not that small. Try the horseradish slaw. Just a hint of horseradish. Great beer selection. Jungle Shack is a fun place with great food and service.

good menu lots for the kids to keep them busy while food is prepared. Not much for atmosphere and if it is cold outside, they have to cover the screened in porch.

Had dinner here while camping at Edisto State Park. Food was delicious. Tried the fried shrimp and Mahi tacos based on other reviews- delicious!! The crab cake was ok. The shrimp are fresh battered-so good. Would come back again. All seating is "outside" but "inside" is screened in. Beautiful for October weather.
