Went with the family. 4 adults and 2 toddlers. Service was inadequate. Brought drinks around 1 time. Food really not that good. Prices high. Then because we had party of 6 with 2 of them being toddlers charged us 20% tip.table too small for 6. Avoid this place. Again not so hot.

We revisited McConkey's Jungle Shack this year and just had to have one of their delicious burgers again. My favorite, the burger with pimento cheese topping! Absolutely scrumptious! Don't visit Edisto Island without eating here. And, there were no birds this year!

We took my 2 year old to play at Edisto Park across the street from McConkey's and decided to walk over for dinner. We had two small dogs, a toddler, an infant in a stroller and 2 adults in our party. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman and sat out on the patio at a picnic table. It's a... More

I had a burger and my husband had a fish sandwich. We also shared a basket of onion rings. The burger was average, my husband's fish sandwich was supposed to come tartar sauce and he wasn't given any. The onion rings were really good, not too greasy or heavy. They only have bottled water and it wasn't even cold. The... More

This restaurant is basically one big screen porch. Love the fishing decor. Seemed like it was a family of three. They all took care of us. Barely waited a minute till they had our land shark and sangria out. The food came out promptly and hot. Husband and I had a long day of trying to beat the storms. They... More

While the food was good at McConkey's, the comfort of the place was sorely lacking. There is no air conditioning and you must go into the kitchen to reach the rest rooms.

I got my families food to go but this resturaunt has a neat setting, basically a screened in porch. My husband had a burger which he said was pretty good. The chili cheese fries however didn't have much flavor. I got the regular size cheese and chicken Quesidillas for my kids. They probably could have split one. I had the... More

Went there for dinner and it was a grease fest. Fried pickles were sitting in grease and so was the fried fish plate I ordered as my meal. Even smells like a fried grease pit when you drive by the place !!

I love the fried pickle chips and the atmosphere here is just so cool and chill. Grab a bucket of beers for a great price too.
