Came back 2 years later after remembering they had great buffalo wings and they're still good. Get the wings.

Got forty wings and a shrimp plate and was pleased with the food. Atmosphere is "island dive" but fitting.

We ate here with our three young children on a busy Saturday night. We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. It was raining, so the outdoor picnic tables were unavailable. The dining area is cramped and noisy. If you are looking for a quiet dinner then this is definitely not the place for you. The kitchen lost our... More

We hit Whaley's right before the dinner 6pm rush, being reminded that they were featured in a national magazine. The food was fresh, but portions were average size, even the largest offering was not too large. Scallops were large, moist, fresh tasting and tender, shrimp was a bit greasy and the fish fillet was nothing noteworthy. We had some issue... More

The service is not always fast but always friendly, and the locally-caught seafood is excellent. My husband and I ate lunch at Whaley's. We both had the sushi nachos. They were delicious. Liz was our waitress and she was very attentive and sweet. We loved the laid back, chill out feel.

The crab and shrimp bisque was too salty to consume, the fried pepper jack cheese was so overdone they brought us fried shells of batter and acted like it wasn't our problem when we complained. Drinks were weak, fries were soggy, and baskets were lacking. Bad attitudes and poor service. Will NEVER be back and will NEVER recommend. This is... More

I guess ... in the city, restaurants would pay big money to decorate their store like Whaley's .... rustic, old charm. The food was very good. In fact, we have eaten at Whaley's twice. Prices were normal for Edisto, The food was good. It's not downtown Charleston food. It's Edisto .... good enough not to want to drive to Charleston... More
