Ala Mario's serves both Italian food and Greek food and both are very good. Just a local pizzeria atmosphere but the pizza and gyros have to be the best around. The staff is friendly and courteous and I will continue to be a customer. They make some great Greek salads as well and they have a great choice of desserts.

We wanted a nice quiet place for some spaghetti. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. This is a cozy, friendly, local place. We had to try the baklava, it looked so good. We'll, it was very good. We will be returning to try more items. My wife says that the tea is good, also. Even at 8:30 pm on a Monday... More

Great prices. We had the special w pepperoni, chicken Parmesan sub and a white pizza with sausage. The sausage was amazing, tasted homemade. My son liked the chicken parm. Chicken was grilled not fried which he liked just as good as a traditional sandwich. A little healthier. Definitely glad we tried this place.

First thing my wife, and I did when we came to South Carolina, was to find good Pizza. For the first six months, we probably tried every pizza place we could find, which was over a half a dozen, which turned out to be, so, so, to bad, until a friend from New Jersey who use to live here, told... I have been eatting their food for about 15 years, way before they moved to current location. There are only two places anywhere around that I will eat calzones from and this place is my first choice. You can really tell it is a family owned business and not another chain, which I despise, i drive 25 minutes each way... More

The name might not be all Italiano, but the pizza certainly is! As a native New Yorker, I am picky when it comes to pizza. But Ala Mario's has served one of the best pies in town consistently. Prices are good. Better yet, he makes a good gyro!

Wanted to grab a couple pies and some wings with a couple friends so we decided to go with Marios rather than Dominos, papa johns, etc. We ordered the food for pick up and they told us about 25 minutes (sounds reasonable) however, once we got there, 30 minutes later, the pizza wasn't even close to done. We waited and... More

This is definitely a local spot. More for take out or a quick sit. The pizza is good and crispy. The cost is excellent. adequate toppings. Does a very brisk and busy dinner rush. Staff to busy to be friendly. The locals that frequent are very nice. Would definitely return when I return to the beach.

After tasting their thin-crust pizza, we agreed that this place was definitely another 'discovery' during our South Carolina trip. The pizza was light and crispy and fluffy at the same time - we enjoyed it a lot that we had to bring a large one back to the hotel. They also make great lasagna and the portions are not small....
