wonderful food, cozy atmosphere

We are locals and eat her frequently. Salads are fresh and sandwiches are very good. The Rueben is fantastic. Compared for what you would pay and get in MB this is well worth the small drive. The staff is friendly and the decorated in antiques. They play 50s music. A fun, quaint place.

A gem? No. Maybe we hit it on the day the "chef"was out, but I didn't get that feeling. Generous portions, tho.

Although we've never eaten lunch here, the bakery is on our list every time we come to Conway. The selection of pastries is impressive and everything we've had has been very good. The one thing I never leave the bakery without is the cheese bread. It is probably the best I've ever had (except for yours dear). When we go... More

We recently visited downtown Conway, SC after years of blowing by on US-501. What a wonderful little town. We have been back 3 times in the last month bringing friends to see our find even though we live an hour away. In this gem of a city we found a gem of a restaurant. The Trestle is a small town... Being a resident of Conway, I like to spend my money at locally owned places. So, I tried The Trestle after looking at their online menu. Gee, the 'Breakfast Plate Special' was only $4.75 and included a beverage choice according to the menu. Well, that wasn't true. My tea was a couple of extra bucks, in addition to the $4.75,... More

We were driving the back roads through Conway and decided to stop here for lunch based on other reviews. Certainly a nice find! Quaint first half of the 20th century interior, very good service, and very good food. Sandwich and soups were what we had, thoroughly enjoyable. We did not have dessert, although all of the bakery goods were very... More

Fabulous homemade foods In a beautiful downtown setting. Conway is a nice little secret only minutes from Myrtle Beach. The chicken salad is the best I've ever tasted, not to mention the homemade bread and scrumptious desserts.

We ate lunch at the Trestle on a Saturday afternoon in February. That every table was full when we entered was the first clue that it would be very good. The second was the fact that a (very busy) waitress stopped to tell us where we could stand and how to get a table (seat yourself) - she was very... More
