We have had wiener (veal) schnitzel in Koblenz, Germany and this restaurant serves the best ever (no exaggeration). We started with a cup of goulash served over spetzel (tiny dumplings). We had the white cheese sauce for the schnitzel and it was fantastic. Julia and Jerry greet customers warmly and create a wonderful atmosphere. The meal ended with a moist... More

I would love to give you a review of the food but after almost 2 hours we finally left! Horrible customer service experience -- two couples were sat before us - in the 2 hours we were there waitress never have us a refill or even came by to give us on an update or offer an apology about the... Have been there three times. There won't be a fourth time. They seem to always want to charge you for more than they should and get very angry when you notice it. This would be a great place to go to if you wanted to be treated badly. And the food is only so-so, by the way.

We have gone to this place several times over the past 4 years and this time, we were there as part of a group. First we ordered one special beer but I saw how they poured another brand of beer, so they were not happy that we insisted on getting what we had actually ordered. Then, we had to wait... More

My wife and I lived in a German area of Queens, NY with some of the best German restaurants in the country. With that background and having been to Germany and working for a German firm, we feel comfortable saying we know good German food. Julia's is worth a visit. The menu is somewhat limited, focusing on Schnitzels and one... More

I am sorry but I have tasted great German food and this meal does not even come close. The pork tenderloin was dry and greasy. The salad was average as was the potato salad. I gave a average rating because Julia was very friendly and you can see she works very hard for her customers.

The schnitzel and home fries were wonderful. The atmosphere is definitely like you see overseas. Loved the German music and the owner personally ask if our food was good.

This German food will delight even the most decerning taste buds! We returned from Germany in 2011, where we lived for 7 years. We traveled to all parts and regions, trying different meals and local dishes. Our best friend in Germany is a "foodie" and part of the regional food tasting group, and she passed along her favorite restaurants for... More

Spent 2 years in Germany and was thrilled to find a local restaurant that serves authentic Deutschland food. Real schnitzel that is the size of a plate and great home fries. Atmosphere to match the true overseas experience. Would have been nice to have some oompa music and service was slow, however food was excellent.

We've been going to Julia's for over 20 years and continue to love it. The decor makes you think you are in Germany, and the food is authentic. The schnitzel is huge, crispy and not greasy at all, with just the right seasonings. Accompanied with the fried potatoes and salad, it is the perfect German meal. Julia always comes out... More
