Just like gasthaus food in Germany

This is the real thing. I was stationed in Germany and there was no better gasthaus food than this. the schnitzels overlap the dishes, the rouladen is excellent and you can't leave without a slice of Julia's buttercreme cake (any flavor). She has a really nice Gernam wine selection. I an not a beer... read more

Once again we had a wonderful dinner at Julia's! We went there with family from out of town and enjoyed a wonderful meal and atmosphere. Because it is an small authentic German eatery, we understand everything is cooked fresh to order. It may take a little longer to get your entrée because of that, but it allows you more time... I recently made my first and last visit to Julia's. Food okay, service slow, and customer service was just about as bad as anything I've ever experienced. A group is us went to lunch and encountered several customer service issues. I ordered pork schnitzel for $10.50 then a few minutes later I asked for jaeger schnitzel instead for 11.50, that would... Great schnitzel & German potato salad, but it important to order dessert (made by the owner) because they often run out. Large portions; so get the dessert to go.

Pretty good German food, but why should one pay full increased dinner prices for a lunch portion? Usually, when you order from a dinner menu the price increases, however so does the portion size. Here the only difference in the lunch and dinner menu is an increase in price and time of day. No increase in portion size. Stay away... More

went with friends for an early Octoberfest meal. had a really nice schnitzel and German potato salad. this is a relaxed family business with friendly people. Be sure to take cash....no plastic at this place. People all say the deserts are very good but I did not save room on this trip.

Taken here by my son who is stationed here in the military. The restaurant is in what appears to be an old, reclaimed motel. It is a Mom and Pop operation where the mom is an authentic German, accent and all. she appears to be the primary waitress and manager. I'm not sure who does the actual cooking. The food... More

I read through the other reviews, but decided that I love German food so much I would try anyways. I'm glad I went! The food was great. I lived in Germany for many years and this is the real deal. What to expect: -amazing food -slow service. This is how places should be. Don't stuff the food in your mouth... More

We have been living in SC for a year and just decided to finally see what's out there, and we found this place. The atmosphere is mom & pop. Pleasant services and a personal table visit by the owner was a friendly touch. My wife loved her Reuben sandwich and I absolutely loved my Jager schnitzel. We will definitely eat... More
