More brew than brats

Most reviews are correct. You wouldn't really visit for the food only. The beer selection is phenomenal and even the craft cocktails are extensive but if they were rated for food only it would be average. There's a great vibe and the place is fun. The pizza is a good choice.

Extremely familiar with the Charlotte Saucer, and was pleased to discover I was treated like family away from home!!! Jenn and the rest of the staff was awesome towards my 2 year old. I was taught a while ago, that long after you have forgotten what you ate, you will remember how you were treated. Jenn and the manager on... More

A small group of friends stopped by the Flying Saucer to have a couple of drinks before heading out for dinner. Huge beer selection and full bar. The place seemed really big, but not loud. Service was really good. We had a good time catching up and relaxing.

Lunch on Saturday (Friday night was mobbed for special event) was just what we wanted: good food and a plethora of craft beer choices. I recommend the Brats and German Potato Salad plate. Everyone at our table liked their food and all agreed we would eat here again. Large space, lots of TVs, and family friendly, at least at lunchtime.

If you like beer, dips, and pizzas there is no better place in Columbia. Gets a bit crowded and loud so if you are not into that go elsewhere.

This place is another one you want to visit if you are a beer drinker. They do have other drinks that are non-alcohlic. When you order the pretzels you probably think of the mall. These are the biggest hottest pretzels I have ever had. They give you different dippinig sauces if you want to dip. They are so big you... More

Rotating taps and great beer. Food is fine with the Brat plate surprisingly good. Wait staff is real good and you can sit outside in covered deck. I joined the beer club to try and get a plate up on wall after 250 different beers. They will only serve officially 3 beers on this system. Also you have to use... More

I go to the Saucer every couple of months with a few friends. I love trying craft and micro brews and the Saucer has a great selection on tap and in bottles/cans. They usually have some kind of special like "pint night" or "buy a beer get a glass". The biggest problem is narrowing down your beer choice. The food... More

I stop by when ever I get the chance. Comfortable patio area. The food is good, though limited menu, but the beer selection is what one should really come for. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good atmosphere.

After visiting "the Saucer" in November, we simply had to return in December while doing some preChristmas shopping. If you like an endless list of domestic, foreign, and craft beers, here is the place for you. Reading over the list and viewing the alcohol % is a real education' Scanning the saucers on the wall is an additional treat. These... More
