Nice casual atmosphere. Really good sandwiches, but definitely not fast. Actually, our service was quite poor. Very difficult to get even one refill on our drinks. But..I will chalk that up to a sub-par server and would go back simply because the Reuben was very good and the bread was really fresh.

Okay, so the place was packed the Saturday of Parents Weekend. I get it. If I hadn't eaten here before on a previous visit to USC & fell in love with their STP, I would have walked out. The sandwiches are absolutely wonderful. But, dang, it's took well over 35 minutes to get our food & our drinks weren't refilled... More

The Groucho’s Deli on Harden Street, the flagship store of the Groucho’s chain here in the Columbia metro area, is widely praised for its traditional and specialty sandwiches. Less well publicized is the store’s nice selection of sandwiches and salads for the diet-conscious. When I recently stopped by for a takeout sandwich I scanned the I.S.M./Low Fat Alternatives section of... More

(It's really at 10 Horne St, Raleigh, 27607) It's a pretty nice deli - clean, friendly, with quite reasonable prices, and just a few feet off the main drag running by NC State Univ. - Hillsborough St. The atmosphere is of a college town location. The portions are reasonable - and the food is good enough that you will wish... More

The food was good - definitely a step above any of the chain sandwhich shops. I must say that I don't see what the big deal over the "45" sauce is, but it seems that I'm alone in that opinion! The Forest Acres location gives you a free cookie at the end of your meal, which is a nice touch.... More

We enjoyed lunch here. We had the deli club for two. There was a huge portion of both ham and turkey on the sandwich. And the sandwich was very good.

Groucho's is good. I prefer the 5 Points location to any other location in SC. The food is pretty good. The 45 sauce is awesome, and you can hook me up to an I.V. of it. Definitely go with the STP Dipper or the Apollo Dipper.

As students in the Seventies, we loved spending our parents' money at what was then the ONLY "original" Groucho's Deli, the one in Five Points, Columbia. A wonderful man named Andy manned the counter, and used to call familiar customers "my dears." Sandwiches were mountainous and the kind of food that only a nineteen-year-old can eat routinely and still fit... More

Great Place. Recommended to us by locals. We went there as a large ball team. Players & Parents. Great Service. Food was excellent. Great Subs & sandwiches. Really good sweet tea (even had the wonderful pellet ice) their "special" sauce really is special. Wish we had one of these back home.

Kids & I love Groucho's. From the crushed ice in our drinks to the yummy "special" sauce- you can't go wrong @ Groucho's. My fav is the White Moose. My son loves Toasted Cheese with bacon. And wait staff is always excellent! Whenever we are in Columbia we try to have lunch here :)
