In town on business and wanted some Southern style cooking. Didn't expect gourmet style. This place is great. I had great pork chops, maybe the best I have ever had. My knife went through them like butter. Mashed potatoes were perfect, just enough of everything. Great beer and wine selection. Art on the walls, all for sale. Parking is tough... More

Every time I'm in the deep south, I seek out good fried chicken. Believe me, it's a lot harder than you think. There are notable exceptions and Mr. Friendly's buttermilk fried chicken is one of them. Why? The chicken breast is lightly floured and seasoned and it comes out golden brown and juicy. Then they cover it in tasso ham... More

First of all you earn additional miles with your Delta AMEX card at this place. Food was fabulous. Huge lunch portions, casual atmosphere with upscale food. We brought the kids with us and it was fine; however our children are well behaved and eat out frequently. I don't think I would suggest this place for families with several young children.... More

My family's favorite restaurant for many years. My office staff Christmas party is held here often. The pimento cheese tenderloin filet is always a hit. Upscale Southern specialties whether salads, sandwiches, or entrees. Service is always excellent and the atmosphere is upscale, but not stuffy.

I went there with a friend on a Wednesday evening for dinner and it was amazing. The southern cuisine was very tasty without being overly fattening. The food has excellent flavor and great portion sizes.

Absolutely delicious! I had the maple bourbon pork steak and the peach spring rolls for dessert. Services was attentive and professional. Will definitely visit again!

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was great. Shrimp and Grits were perfect and sangria excellent. Very good service with no rushing. Very convenient location next to The Inn at Claussen's.

I arrived early to meet a friend for lunch. Not a problem. Seated me at a nice table in a really interesting and enjoyable dining space. Tables were close but somehow I wasn't in my neighbors' conversations. Waite was pleasant and attentive but not pushy or impatient. I ordered tea then saw peach tea and asked to switch. Again, not... This is a great little place tucked away at the top of the Greene Street hill at the railroad tracks. The food on both days that we were there was delicious and freshly prepared. The first day I was with three other ladies and I enjoyed the Salmon salad with peach chutney. Awesome!! One of my dining friends had the... More

We really wanted to love this place but just couldn't. First of all, the food is good. They had all sorts of elaborate concoctions, but none of them inspired a "gotta have it" urge. It all seemed unnecessary and pretentious. If you're a vegetarian, forget about this place. They have a daily vegetarian entree which was a boring combo of... More
