Great barbecue at a great price

We went to Little Pigs based on the reviews here and were not sorry. The buffet is your only choice if you are eating there, but there is plenty to choose from. The mustard pulled pork was my favorite, but the hot wings were good too. Cole slaw, potato salad and corn all required a second trip... read more

My family went here for lunch looking for some southern BBQ and looked at reviews and they are right food is great and prices are better. There was something for everyone.

This is the real deal. the chef and owner, Champ, is a master. Don't dress up for lunch, just wear some clothes (they may end p with some BBQ on them). Throw the diet to the wind and indulge in the best down home lunch you can get.

The barbecue buffet is simply awesome. At $10 you can't beat the price. The atmosphere reminds you of a backyard pig picking. Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. Great sweet tea the way it was meant to be. Haven't found a more authentic tasting barbecue restaurant yet. They have been in the same place since 1972,serving only the best barbecue around.

Still loving the experience of eating here. It has been a couple of years since my last visit-but I'm still pleased with the place. The BBQ is outstanding. Love the selections and the service is still southern country nice. Something about this place provides a homey feel. Still busy as ever-which is a good sign!

Making our way from Charleston to Charlotte we were searching trip advisor for a good southern lunch. We were so happy that we found this restaurant. Let me start by saying that my family of 4 ate for $38.95, that never happens, we could not believe how affordable this place was. The fried chicken and pork chops were to die... More

Visiting my daughter at USC and just googled BBQ - we figured anything with "pig" in the name had to be good, 2 is just better! With a wife from TX, and we lived in KC, we appreciate BBQ. We rolled up at 2:30 pm and there was still a line out the door on Sat; not too many out... More

Of course, no place is perfect, but I highly recommend Lil Pigs. The food is always hot and delicious. There is a large selection to choose from. The service is usually friendly, but then again, I did not come to talk a lot! Family atmosphere is great! Cons: Parking is tough, getting back in line is difficult and they close... More

You can't go wrong with Little Pigs. Great value for your money. They make food that would take you all day to cook at home and you get it for a little amount of money. Try getting this much for for the same amount of money anywhere else. It aint happening. The family runs the place and you can tell... More

We were disappointed but not surprised by the quality and taste of the menu items. Specifically we found the brisket, which is hard to find here in Columbia, to be tough and fatty. Also, the potatoes seemed to be "instant", and the fried chicken was not very "meaty" compared to other places. The desert (banana pudding) was average at best.... More
