This is our third time eating here, first time for lunch. In keeping with our previous visits it was spot on. The food is fabulous, service attentive. Although we need to try some new places, we keep on coming back to Blue Marlin. Highly recommended

Do you like fried oysters? I love them and these were some of the best I've ever eaten! There are many choices on the menu and the fish my friend ordered was as delicious as my oysters were. Collard greens were excellent so my educated guess is everything offered would be equally appealing.

This is a great restaurant for either Lunch or dinner. My wife and I both enjoy the shrimp and grits. Bar scene is relaxing.

We had a drink at the bar as we waited for our table.. very nice ... Once seated our server was very good.. My seafood couldn't have been better and my beau's steak was perfection!

The service was OK but not great. Service was generally slow. The crab cake appetizer was not hot, the east was just average. The fried green tamatoes were sverage. The shrimp and grits special was short on shrimp and lacking in much sausage. Disappointing. Another meal was also dusappointing. The salmon was good.

My cousin suggested we try Blue Marlin while I was in Columbia visiting. We made dinner reservations, arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated without a problem. We were seated in a large booth with a great view of the entire restaurant. The atmosphere is cool, comfy and casual. Our waitress , Erica was friendly and efficient without being... More

I went for lunch with couple of my colleagues. Ordered Blackened Salmon Charleston and green collards...they both tasted very good. You get a Grits, Collards with the salmon. The service was excellent. It would be better if you have made a reservation.I would come back again

The menu was classic Southern seafood with crab cakes and shrimp grits being popular choices. The atmosphere is upscale, but not stuffy. You could eat in a sports coat or shorts! The bar area is a nice place to grab a quick bite if you are solo.

We go to Blue Marlin frequently as we live nearby. Usually, it is a wonderful meal. Our last visit was very disappointing. The she crab soup was excellent, but my salad was awful. Half of it was inedible. The "greens" were mostly white - the part of lettuce I never eat. It just wasn't fresh. I will go back and... More
