The service was excellent. Unfortunately, the Award Winning Blue Marlin Shrimp & Grits was either loaded with MSG or a-heck-of a-lot of salt. The prices are too high to be left with that Chinese food dry mouth feeling after the meal. If I were inclined to try the Blue Marlin again, I would definitely order something else.

I great place to eat in Columbia, whether for lunch or dinner. The food is always consistently good and the service excellent. The shrimp and grits are the best in Columbia. It is, of course, very popular and busy, so a reservation is recommended for peak period.

The facility is pleasant and well decorated. The food is well prepared but not superb. The crab cakes were very good and worth a return trip. The service was excellent and attentive even though the evening was very busy. With the sauces and food selection, the wine selection was fine but not inspired and the by the glass choices needs... Daughter and I had dinner here while visiting USC. We walked from our hotel. Service was excellent, had a southern combo app, that was almost a meal in itself. Daughter had ravioli and I had Tuna...both outstanding. Place was crowded, but we only had to wait 5 minutes. Really impressed.

Comfortable atmosphere, great service, good food. I had terriyaki salmon that was perfectly prepared. The glaze and the rest of the meal met expectations, but was not exceptional. Spot on for the price, though. Would dine there again.

My company did a dinner for about 20 there last month. Great experience. They have a great building that is separate from main restaurant out back. The staff that was waiting on is was awesome and very helpful with any needs. The food was great. Everyone loved it and the desserts also! About the only negative is parking can get... More

I am not a seafood lover but ate there with a group of friends. Steaks were available but were pricey (around $28.00). No hamburgers here, either. It would be a nice spot for a romantic dinner out on the town, but not a family friendly atmosphere. I chose a simple salad and added chicken. That was a reasonable option for... More

It is a cute restaurant in downtown Columbia, very clean and the waitress was nice. The food was disappointing since I had heard great things about it. One dish had too much tomatoes it seamed like that was all I ordered instead of the seafood that's supposed to come with it. The she crab soup was good but everything else... More

Loved walking through the city to get to this restaurant. As soon as I saw it was in a train station I thought it would be touristy and I was right. The decor is dated and musty ... matched the food. We had the soup and then a steak. Both were "Blah" at best. The steak was insanely thin and... More
