Glad we came back....

Have not been here in years.... wanted to but get back. Finallly did and it was just great. We were very lucky to be able to walk in and get a table with no wait. Had a cup of the She Crab soup... just amazing!! I also went outside of the box and did a steak.... was worried... however, this... read more

Wonderful as always! Quick, courteous service and delicious seafood dishes make this one of our favorites. Today we lunched on crispy oysters, shrimp linguine and tasty sides. The warm bread before dinner and southern collard greens are another added bonus. Lots of good food. You can't beat it for fresh, well prepared seafood.

Environment, service and food were superb, second to none. Away from any great coastal seafood restaurant, this is the single-most, pure-seafood taste I've had in years (save Fisherman's Grotto in Monterey, or Uncle Ernie's in Panama City). Had fried calamari, she-crab soup, and Salmon Pontchartrain. Magnifico! Can't wait for my next trip! Parking is hard to find; be familiar with... More

My colleagues and I dined here on our first night in Columbia during a 3 day business trip. The shrimp and grits entrée was absolutely amazing - creamy grits, perfectly cooked shrimp, and a generous portion size.

Great seafood in the hippest part of Columbia. I had a great meal tonight- she crab soup, ceasar salad & salmon a la Pontchartrain. The place was packed and it was obvious why- great food! Reservations recommended. This is a great place for Low Country cuisine. The she crab soup is authentic and a must , especially if you've never... More

My husband and I come to Blue Marlin all the time. Only place in Columbia to get fresh fish. Food is excellent as well as the service. My favorited is the Charleston Crab Cakes. I have tried crab cakes in every restaurant we have ever been to (even on the coast) and these are the best! Can't wait to go... More

Food is good, but not outstanding. Very good service and a good atmosphere -Very convenient location with metered parking and blood thirsty meter readers

My fiancé and I love Blue Marlin and will continue to come back. It is our favorite spot in Columbia and we have recommended it to many friends. The Mahi Orleans is incredible, as is the teriyaki salmon. The She Crab soup is also delicious. For the type of meal you get, pricing is also great too.

Blue Marlin is worth a visit in Columbia. Ambiance is first rate and the food is fine. I would skip the Shrimp and Grits here but everything else is good (actually, that dish is OK also I'm just not a fan of the creek shrimp). If you are a sports fan, this is the ESPN Game Day crew hang out... More
