Consistently good. Nice atmosphere. Good service. Good food. They have the standard italian dishes and a few that are less common. Never had a bad meal there.

My husband and I dined at Ristorante Divino the night before my birthday, and also the night before we picked our son up from USC for the summer. We had a 7:00 reservation and were seated promptly, even though we arrived early. They have an extensive wine list, including one of our all-time favorites, Penfold's Grange. We didn't indulge in... We went on a monday night. We sat at the bar although we have made reservations. The place was not busy. We essentially had the bar to ourselves and the undivided attention of the bartender which was nice. The drinks were good, but small and expensive. The appetizers were really good. The stuffed peppers and smoked trout were really tastey.... More

Wanted to like this place. Nice decor and I really love good Italian food. I had the ravioli with two sauces and my friend had risotto of the day, wild mushroom? I had a arugula salad and my friend had a scallop appetizer. The ravioli was the best of the bunch and even that was nothing special. The risotto was... More

Seriously. I haven't has Italian food this good since I went to Italy. Also, I live in greenville which is a total foodie town and we don't have a great Italian restaurant like this. If I had one in Greenville I would go often. Very reasonable price for such awesome food. The sauce was so light and had such flavor!... More

My wife and I were in Columbia for the weekend, that also fell on our anniversary date. On the recommendation of the staff at the Hampton Inn, which is just across the street, I made a reservation for 8 pm on Saturday night. I explained to the host on the phone that it was our anniversary and if possible, and... More

We spent Valentines at Ristorante Divino. Definitely did not disappoint! We started with an appetizer from the specials, oysters Rockefeller. Perfection! I had the lamb from the special menu and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. It was a little fattier than I like, but still excellent. My husband had the veal with porcini cream sauce. Excellent! We could drink... More

Came to Columbia SC and my host told me he was going to take me out for some local flavor. I was surprised when we went Italian but after the meal I know why. I enjoyed one of the best lobster bisque soups ever. I chose the shrimp and scallops over spinach as my main meal. Fresh and delicious. The... More

Great selection of fresh Italian food. There were four of us and we all had an outstanding meal and dessert. The server recommended some outstanding wines as well. You will not be disappointed.

I travel to Columbia relatively frequently, but last night was my first visit to Ristorante Divino. From the street, I wouldn't have thought that there was such culinary magic inside. The restaurant is on the small side, but set up in a welcoming way. All the tables were full, and it was a Monday night. I would recommend making a... More
