Great shop with tasty treats

What a fun place to shop and have lunch! They have all sorts of gourmet treats (cheeses, meats, nuts, candy) in addition to an extensive wine shop and bakery. They also sell a wide variety of kitchen gadgets, tools and pots/pans. Next to the shop is the cafe with a nice selection of sandwiches... read more

food and service excellent, feeling of an old soda shop. only one bathroom for males and females for such a large place, checkout is in the store section of the shop making it inconvenient to get to from the restaurant.

My daughter had recommended that we have lunch here last week, and we were so pleased! I had the triple salad combination with chicken salad, tomato basil soup, and. Creamy tomato Pasta salad with Gorgonzola cheese. I loved all three, but particularly the chicken salad and soup. We also had mimosas, which were so refreshing. Everyone else ordered paninis, which... More

My girlfriend and I went there for brunch on a Sunday morning. The food was really good and the tomato soup was incredible. However, the coffee (espresso) need a little more to it, and the ladies next to us asked for coffee 3 or 4 times. We sat outside so that was probably the issue, but it didn't seem like... More

Enjoyed a weekday lunch here recently. The restaurant was quite busy even at 1:30. My friend enjoyed the Spinach Salad and I had the House Salad and we split a Black Bean and Corn Salad/Chicken Wrap. The salads were great and served with slices of baguette. The wrap was good, but the tortilla was a little heavy. The only knock... More

We were not aware that the cafe closed at 3 and the shop at 6 , and we arrived at 2:55. The waitress gave us great service and never rushed us. Their world famous chicken salad was good , but I like mine with a little curry . The BLT was great . My wife had the trio salad -... More

The Gourmet Shop is a restaurant and kitchen implement store with a fine wine section thrown in for good measure. The restaurant focuses on gastro pub grub. Great sandwiches on exception bread, luscious soups full of flavor and sides with a twist. Expect a wait of between 10 to 20 minutes. Once seated, everything moves very fast thanks to experienced... Had a great experience at The Gourmet Shop! I ordered the chicken salad on a croissant with a side of fruit salad which was delicious, and I highly recommend. The service was great- our waitress was attentive and friendly, and we did not have to wait long for our food. Overall we had an excellent time eating outside and checking... More

They have a great wine selection but some of the workers need attitude adjustment. Last time I was there I requested the sales associate to change gloves she was using to clean with before preparing my food. She tells me “If it will make you happy I will change them. I’m not touching the food with my bare hands. For... More

The gourmet shop has a great selection of soups and sandwiches! They have a nice patio for those wanting to sit outside. It is also a nice place to relax and have a mimosa on Saturday morning while enjoying brunch. The tomato basil soup is to die for!
