Description: Located in the historic Congaree Vista with a heated patio and free valet parking, Motor Supply has been serving progressive, New World cuisine using classic French culinary techniques for over 20 years. Led by Executive Chef Wesley Fulmer, the kitchen's lunch, dinner and brunch handwritten menus change daily, featuring contemporary New American cuisine, with nods to Creole, Cajun, New Southern, French, Italian and Asian cuisine. We are Columbia's foremost "farm to fork" restaurant, working with local, sustainable farms for produce, meats, SC seafood and more. Seafood is caught off of the Carolina coast, and all of our stocks, sauces and desserts are made on site, including our charcuterie, with house-made sausages, bacon, country pate, and rillettes, all the way down to the pickles and mustard. Our early 19th century, solid-oak bar with marble columns, imported from Europe, serves 180+ fine wines (Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence, 2006-12), an extensive list of imported, domestic and local craft beers, as well as an artisan farm-to-shaker cocktail list made from house-infused liquors, handmade bitters, barrel-aged spirits and locally-sourced ingredients and garnishes.

This is the first time we have been at the Motor Supply since we moved to Lexington. Lexington itself has no fine dining of the 170 + eateries in our town compared to Columbia. Motor supply has a nice atmosphere , and good service, well socked bar and tasty food. The carrot ginger soup was very good but a touch... More

We have been here many times for Sunday brunch. Except for the smoked salmon plate, everything is wonderful. Service is fantastic. If John has made meat loaf when you go, order it. They open at !0:30 on Sunday which we like.

So , when I finally made it there today for a friend`s birthday , I was an eager , curious foodie . Unfortunately , I was... More

Busy Saturday night and we had a group of nine. Service was fine for a large group but nothing special. The food was delicious but the prices were high for what was served. Looked forward to the peanut butter pie only to be disappointed by the small little pieces served as dessert.

I like this place. Inside it is nice. A little pricey but the food appears to be pretty good quality. Had the roasted cauliflower salad. Really beautiful salad and would have been perfect but my goodness please take the salt down a few notches. Now I'm aware that in this part of the country over salting and over sweeting is... More

Mike was my server. He was super nice and friendly and helpful. The menus are hand written daily. Mike had tasted all the entrees on the menu and had great recommendations for me. I had the Carolina pork chops with a blackberry mustard sauce. It was absolutely delicious! So much flavor! I had the peanut butter chocolate dessert with caramel... More

Went for a business lunch and had the Blackened Quarter Chicken with sweet potatoes and green beans and it was delicious! It was a nice, light lunch that was very fresh. Great place for an inexpensive business lunch, I believe mine was $12.

I love the food at this restaurants. Farm to table with a chef that creates a delicious menu each day. The bread is delicious and so are the following items that I have had while visiting here. Anything with Duck, the Pork Chop, The Shrimp and Grits. The only negative is that on my last visit the Shrimp and Grits... More
